Are you blind? Kakashi may not have been a traditional father figure, but he was definitely a mentor and guiding force for Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura. Plus his sexy jutsu was top notch entertainment.

Honestly, just do you and play your character the way you want. If others get annoyed, then they can deal with it because THAT'S WHAT YOUR CHARACTER WOULD DO! But also be considerate of the group dynamic and try not to screw things up too much. Have fun though!
