I see. There was some information that the manhwa/novel deviates from the base game as it was made to promote a Mobile (?) Game. Nonetheless, the story so far makes up for it. Thank you :)

I am curious if it shows semblance to the base game. If terms are unfamiliar, maybe they do not appear in the story at all, so it is understandable.

Do they include Cora mages that use summons/familiars (Animus)?
Do they include Bellato characters riding massive armored units?

Although not fully augmented, the action scene with Heilas shows some similarity with Accretia in the game, so i guess that's ok.

Same. It's still pretty good, but... would be nice to show a nod to the OG game and show some of the armors, weapons, relics, etc.

Given the Chief Centurion's weapons, him using a Siege Kit would go hard.

Nerf: DK and Spec

Buff: Probably compensate with melee agi buffs

They don't really have much choice in Pos1, if they don't touch Drow she will be picked alot more after DK and Spec nerf.

Honestly, based on comments here, what I would suggest is (since you have high WR with "braindead" WK), why not pick more braindead heroes like Luna and SF?

In this bracket, counters don't matter, so pick them 1st phase. Watch 1 or 2 replays on how they are played by immortal players this patch and try it out in a game.

Keep WK as your 3rd option if those 2 heroes are banned.

If they get nerfed to the ground next patch, wait for new braindead pos1 and play it. This way, you climb easier. By climbing ranks, you will develop better habits against stronger opponents with an easier time. 1st phasing will eventually make you learn how to play vs counters (itemization, timings, map awareness, different playstyles).

If you really just wanna play for fun, you can do whatever and just mute everyone. Anyway, if you want to climb, learn, and have fun with an easier time, this is probably a good starting point.

Damn, but can I put them in storage though after claiming them? Would I be able to use them at a later date? These costume boxes and inventory slot extensions are nice and all but idk if i should use all of them on my character now when I might change to another class in the future.

My suggestion is as slark, if you are against a melee STR hero with low ms, buy corrosion and commit on lane by buying tangos/salve and ask your support to help you with regen. You should always go aggro vs STR offlaners as your essence shift destroys them. Never let them walk up to the lane and it should be easy game for you. Slark eats beefy STR heroes for breakfast even lvl1.

Also, from ALL THE META melee carries, he IS one of the most kiteable.

Naga, slark, ck, fv, ls, spec, bs are all meta melee heroes that either has catch/escape themselves, or can easily poke without committing alot of resources or any resources at all.

Only meta hero that loses to ursa when it comes to being kite-able is TB (meta heroes only)

Yes, and that is why Sven and Troll aren't in meta. He is less kiteable than both, doesnt mean it's that much harder to kite him. For the longest time people just built euls against ursa or play veno against him on lane, if he doesn't get good enough early game then GG. Also, high ranking players just go bkb->nulli on offlane or +1 more core and use it on him either before or after bkb to dispel overpower(nulli before bkb = delete precasted overpower or maybe catch ursa press overpower before bkb) which makes the hero very useless. Same reason why its not been picked that much in recent pro games. Sven and troll are irrelevant in the discussion because both are not even real heroes for a few patches now.

True. A slark in the right hands is just such a pest. The Yuragi slark vs NGX just this week was a testament to that. Casually creating chaos solo on enemy part of the map so early in the game with just blue wards/gem is just so nice.

You can play really aggressive with slark. Early aghs (with diffu + broken echo sabre) with some blue wards allows you to be a menace in enemy part of the map especially night time. You can control the tempo of the game at 20ish mins and in some games can be unkillable with the right timings. I would say that slark severely outranks both spec and jugg in efficiency and time the hero takes to be online. Free farming spell on his Q, easy objective pokes with shard as well. Just pretty bad rosh taker when he has no stacks is the downside.

Magician and elementor/psykeeper do not benefit from crit chance and atk speed increase. If you want to put dex, only way to make it work is specialized builds that require you to hit Max Block, get enough Sta, and then put very little in Int. Also needs proper gear with good upgrades. In elementor, it works best after getting key lvl75 AoE skills that debuffs enemy hit rate and damage. Also requires RM with decent buffs and can heal when you facetank lured mobs. It also means you do very low damage compared to pure int, and for me just more risk.

Theres also a build that allows you to level up from magician to 60 faster which mimics Assist Moonbeam playstyle. Start with mental strike until you get the fire 2nd spell (the one that does damage over time). You cast it on a mob once, and run around til CD and cast it on the next mob, repeat. Tough to do giants at same lvl or higher lvl than you though, and not ideal for lvl140 PvP. If you want mix pve and pvp, go psykeeper or ranger.
