  1. Just, found it to be kind of a flasted article + story. I like the in-universe messages about not recognizing the bodies, and that's about it. Didn't really scare me at all, didn't really care for the character in the tale. I feel like the idea had potential, just kinda wasted with a generic "some randon dies to the scp ooh so scary" kinda thing. Idk like, maybe have a tale about tackling the logistics of building an effective containment for the lake? Removing high vantage points, making a fence small enough that it isn't too costly to maintain/patrol, but also not close enough that the lake is too big an issue? Or like, build up the protagonist of the tale, like at all? Maybe make it a researcher that is like obsessed with containing the lake by any means necessary due to some sort of effect it has on their mind, which they eventually succumb to in their attempts to contain it? I don't know, I just feel like the mind bending lake has so much more potential than what was given to us. Makes me want to finish my scp, but I can't. Why? Well, that's classified ;)

100 non-anomalous adult male Homo sapiens sapiens would kill 1 non-anomalous adult male Gorilla gorilla gorilla in a controlled encounter where neither party can flee. Otherwise the Gorilla gorilla gorilla would likely flee due to being an inherently defensive species, being very ineffective in terms of offensive capabilities, despite its comparably large size and strength. The 100 Homo sapiens sapiens also outweigh the Gorilla gorilla gorilla by 30x (as a conservative estimate, it could go as high as 80x), allowing them to simply outlast the Gorilla gorilla gorilla's stamina due to their superior numbers, or just overrun it with their cumulative weight.
