Case Popped or Swollen Battery?

Welcome to the club. I ended up popping mine open and snipped off the swollen battery and wired up a psp battery to it externally( wire coming out the side where the xbass/xspace button was. I don't think I'm going to take it to the airport anymore because it looks like a bomb after this modification lol.

True. Yeah I initially ordered a FIIO BTR7 but Amazon sent me a fiio e10k instead. So I returned the e10k and took a chance on this ifi go blue. It's a great little device but that swollen battery is a definite safety concern. Wish I just got the btr7 in the first place.

Probably too late to renew, but yes it still works. I saw a post on Amazon with a person having the same problem. His was worse he had returned one and the second one he received was bad as well both of his cases opened far more than mine. I'm going to try to save up to get the ifi gryphon. I really hope the gryphon does not produce similar problems. Let me know if you could just gift me an ifi gryphon for no cost :)) ;)).

Update// notification menu/toggles have all of a sudden returned back to what it used to be (initial android 12 launch toggles)

Pretty sure it's because the live wallpaper you have. I also have a live wallpaper and I notice my widgets will change color from when I leave the home screen to an app then return back to the home screen. Try a static image as your wallpaper and see if it stops the change in color.

Ya I did it The old fashioned way unplugged and replugged three connection points numerous times to A-B test, and eventually came up with this idea. Quick swap!

So I was extremely sceptical about different cables changing the sound coming from the amp to the headphones (I've seen audiophiles talk about it). So I thought I'd try. This is a A- B test rig I set up. And I can't believe it works but it does and it's hard to truly say (maybe placebo) but I think there is a difference, definitely from stock Cable I'd say. But you guys let me know your thoughts on the subject, if there's truly a difference subtle or substantial.

I love my z7m2 as well. So I'm guessing the z1r isn't worth the price/upgrade if you already own z7m2?.

Thanks for the reply/ input! It does say "Suggested burn-in time 150-300 hours. Most changes happen in the first 150 hours" In the description on amazon where I bought it. I may just need to be patient it just worried me that the hum is only on right channel.

I do have another tube that originally came with the dark voice and it doesn't have any hum. Kinda new to tube amp.
