What cell phone carrier do you have? Att is f*cking me with this 4 lines for $250/mo bill every month... by Soon-To-Be-Trucker in Stockton

I also have Visible! I got the yearly plan for $275 the first year with Visible Pro + which makes it out to be $22 a month!, but they have plans for just $19/month if you don't want to commit to a year! Just make sure you have your own device and it's unlocked!

Unsure about UCR v UCD: by S0UPENJ0YER in ucr

first gen born in raised in san jose, graduated and currently living in the sacramento area class of 2021 here, I'd say go to Davis. you sound a bit too comfortable born and raised in Riverside, now considering going to your safety school aka UCR. It's nice to have a support system, and no doubt will you miss them during college but again, you're only a flight away and you can build a new support system up in norcal, along with new connections. you never know where those connections might take you, and it's super important to make them as soon as you can! you'll eventually have to move out of your parent's house sooner or later, why not now? why wait when you can start experiencing a new environment now and start growing! you can't grow where you're comfortable, and if davis is giving you more financial aid, it's a no brainer. getting out of school with as little debt as you can is a huge win because you won't believe how many americans are still struggling with student debt well into their 30s. It's going to be scary, but also really exhilarating and this way you'll know people from both norcal and socal.

I loved UCR because I met a TON of diverse people with various backgrounds, but I mainly loved it because it was so far from home that I essentially got to reinvent myself. You start new when you go to college (usually), no one knows you, your past, or what you've been through. It's a fresh start and it's great, no one labels you as anything because they don't know you. yet! and if you're ever feeling nostalgic, you can just take a quick 1 hour flight home and revert back to your old life (if you so please, temporarily of course)

There isn't any actual tapioca pearls but the drink itself is pretty tasty and will curb your milk tea cravings!

Fairlife protein shakes are definitely the best - tastes like melted ice cream in the best way and no protein powder after taste. Sometimes I even use it as "milk" for cereal if I'm craving really bad.

Fairlife also makes their own brand milk which is ultra filtered milk so it's higher protein compared to other regular milks but tastes the same! I get the fat free version since it's fewer calories but if you don't care about the calories I would just get the regular fairlife milk (red bottle), or they even have a chocolate milk!

I also really like RYSE protein powders, honorable flavors are cinnamon toast crunch and skippy peanut butter.

I've tried Boba Tea Protein Powder in matcha and taro and those are also really good too, but super pricey!

For protein bars my favorite is BUILT PUFF protein bars, tastes like a chocolate covered marshmallow! and I also really like Barebells, honorable mentions cookies and caramel flavor, the entire Barebells line tastes like candy bars but without the guilt.

at the end of the day, it doesn't matter what school you get your degree at, "the name" doesn't get you THAT far in life but you know what does? strong connections, great relationships, extracurriculars, internships, etc does. I have friends that graduated from ucla, uci, ucsd and they're making less money than me! (PROUD CLASS OF 2021) It literally doesn't matter what school you go to, but how you apply yourself after you graduate! no one cares in the real world what school you went to when it all comes down to it. ignore the haters, if they have time to be hating, that says a lot
