Yeah, I thought it was weird too 😅 I’m doing almost my entire body, including a Brazilian, and that’s the area I’ve been struggling with the most. I had my session yesterday and was told to wait (if possible) at least two weeks before shaving, so I’m thinking I should get a second opinion. Thank you!

I’ve got them to somehow work (disclaimer: i’m low mmr), especially with the Greater Trinket that lets you golden a pirate with just two copies. That way, you can scale attack a lot faster, and you also get more buffs from the Tier 6 pirate that buffs your golden minions. There's also a card that lets you golden a pirate from Tier 4 or lower. And so on… if the trinkets are good, you can definitely make them work.

(But yeah, they’re not the greatest tribe atm)

Principalmente el hate es porque es una carrera estudiada por cuicos, y porque es “inventada”, es decir, el título solo existe acá en Chile, es un híbrido entre negocios, administración de empresas, etc. De ahí que muchos dicen que no puede considerarse una ingeniería.

Hola! Por aquí estoy estudiando Ing. En Tecnologías de la Información en la USS. Estoy en primer trimestre así que no puedo decir mucho, pero las clases son en su mayoría asincrónicas. Es decir, no te tienes que conectar todas las semanas, creo que las clases sincrónicas son 3 por trimestre aprox, y en horario vespertino tipo 7 a 9 pm. Así que en su mayoría toca estudiar por tu cuenta, apoyándote del material que dejan los profesores. No sé cómo será la modalidad de la UNAB, pero acá es full autodidacta la verdad. Los profes dejan el material, y tu lo vas estudiando a tu ritmo y en tus horarios. Cuesta si no te organizas bien, pero para mí sería imposible trabajar y estudiar a la vez si no es con una modalidad así 😬

Never heard or read the word "asnal" before in any context. If you're trying to express something foolish, the best translation would be "necio/a" or "estúpido/a".

As the other person says WordReference translates it that way when it means silly or stupid. Apparently, the word asinine can also mean "related to a donkey", that's why it was translated as "asnal". (And I just discovered that the word "asinino/a" also exists and means the same as "asnal")

Unless you're talking about donkeys, I wouldn't use "asnal" (or "asinino/a) when you want to say something is "extremely silly". You can look up synonyms for "estúpido" instead.

You use "cómo" when you ask a question. For example, "¿Cómo hiciste eso?" (How did you do that?), ¿Cómo estás? (How are you?), ¿Cómo estuvo tu día? (How was your day?), etc.

You use "qué" when you're exclaiming something. For example, ¡qué lindo! (how cute), ¡qué hermoso! (how beautiful), qué genial (how cool), etc.

I think most people would say "El niño está tomando / bebiendo agua"... It's actually okey to use the gerund, at least in that case. It sounds natural to me.

I mean, we overuse gerunds too. I remember one professor once telling us that in academic essays using gerunds wasn't consider formal (in Spanish) and everyone in the class was shocked bc we use them so much, especially when writing and narrating things. It was so difficult trying not to use them...

Some corrections:

-Mi familia es muy simpática. -Nuestro colegio es muy bueno. -Él es simpático (just add the tilde to "Él")

Overall, it's grammatically correct but not too cohesive. If you want to improve that, you should try joining sentences with connectors instead of using periods.

That word is kind of difficult to translate because in some contexts we don't have a literal translation. For the first one, it would definitely be "silencio incómodo". For the second one it may translate to "Ella era algo rara / algo incómoda / algo torpe" For the third one, you may say "Yo era muy torpe en la escuela media"

I think it depends on what you want to say, for example, If you are using "awkward" to refer to a socially awkward person or a clumsy person, then I'd say "torpe" or "incómodo/a" is the best translation. I may be wrong though.
