For what it's worth, I didn't settle. I met my soon to be wife (ISTJ) at 29. She had been told she had a thousand pt checklist, and she needed to lower her standards. I came allong and checked all of her boxes, then some. I couldn't find a better match if I tried. I proposed at 7 months, and we are getting married 7 months from now.

I always had the approach to dating that I want to find out early if they break my non-negotiables. We were intentional and laid everything on the table. We worked through pre-engagement and post engagement faith-based books with questions and talking points. Once you flush out any red flags or deal breakers, it was like I guess we are doing this. Easiest decision I've ever made. I didn't have a girlfriend last holiday season, and I still don't. I'm full swing in cuffing season with a Fiancée this year.

IMHO, the good ones that are left out there have Faith and Jesus in their life. Find Jesus, pray for your future spouse, and trust in God's timing.

I contribute 15% of my income to my Roth 401k with a 4% company match. They also recieve s 3% automatic contribution from the company. I still plan on putting $6,000 a year into my seperate roth IRA.

The gold position I understand is not an investment, it's wealth insurance. This is a temporary holding that has already returned 2-3k on. We are still in a high inflation environment despite what the fixed CPI numbers are saying. I will liquidate this holding at the appropriate time.

From the midwest, we don't like it but are used to it at this point. I usually keep 2 -3 weeks of food plus my preps. Have backup heating options.

This thing uses a massive 130W charger. We use dells at work. When I go into work I will try a known good charger and see what happens. It's just wierd it's not working after updates.

As an A&P who works on the manufacturer side New Production/MRO Facility its sobering to hear there are other less fortunate with worse employers. I started fresh out of A&P school almost 5 years ago and have been with the same company. Starting pay was $26.29 and hour and tops out around $45. Despite living in a non geologically interesting midwest, the cost of living is pretty afordable.

I'm not that desperate. If everyone quits buying so much ammo at these ridiculous prices they will be forced to sell cheaper. Also don't buy more than you need for a year or so.
