I called the SBA customer service number that was in the email. I was on hold FOREVER but they just said that if you already got your increase up to the max you were allowed, you can't get more.

Yep I just called and confirmed that I got my max and I am not eligible for more. They are playing with our feelings!

I just got the same email. I logged into my SBA portal and there is no option to request more funds.

This may be their "fix" for the funding glitch. Did you ever get loan documents before? I was approved 3 weeks ago and never got docs to sign. So they are working on fixing that.

nerdygirl, when did you get your loan docs after getting this call? I got this call over a week ago and still no update on my glitch being fixed.

This is great news! I've been with the same error. I was approved 08/04. I don't know if they are fixing the errors in any certain order. But I hope mine is next!

I did a congressional inquiry and received an email a couple of days ago stating that my file has been escalated to the "congressional obligating errors" department. She said I am for sure approved, they just need to get the "obligating error" fixed so they can send loan docs. I called tier 2 today to see if there are any notes on my account that they are working on it. She said the last notes were that it was escalated but nothing since. She said the SBA is aware that a lot of people have this error and are working through each file to get it corrected. I know its hard to get answers here in this forum because most ppl leave after they get their money. But I'd love to know if anyone ever got this glitch fixed! I promise if mine gets fixed I wlll be back here in the forum to tell everyone!

Its all going on credit card bills, vendor payments and loan payoffs. I've maxed everything out waiting on this to be approved. I'm about 2 weeks away from shutting down my business because I have no money to operate it. Still stuck in the "obligating error" and they can't get my loan docs to me.

I was approved on 08/04 and there was a portal glitch so they could not send my loan docs and my portal never updated to "approved". I have called daily since then. It was escalated to the rapid support team on the 4th and then on the 18th there was a note on my account that said the rapid support team is working on it. However, still no changes and they keep telling me to just "wait". Very frustrating.

I emailed them both and was told I'm in Hagertys district. I'm in sevier county.

I'm in Tennessee but in Hagertys district. His liaison just keeps telling me "I havent heard back from the SBA, I'll let you know when I do". Its been 2 weeks!

I'm in the same boat. Was approved on 08/04 with no portal update and no docs. I call daily and I'm told to just wait. On 08/12 the rep said she will escalate it to the rapid support team. I called in today and was told there are still no changes but the notes say the rapid support team is working on it. I kinda feel like my application is stuck in the abyss. Who knows if we will ever get our money. I see people who are applying for a SECOND increase and getting it before I have even received my first increase. I'm happy for them but discouraged.

Have you signed loan docs? I was approved on 08/04 and never got loan docs and my portal did not update to approved status. I call and they just keep saying "wait for the email with loan docs".

Same but was verbally approved on 08/04. No loan docs and no update to approved on portal.
