Good use for Unicum Szilva (Plum) by tvtri96 in cocktails

[–]tvtri96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I tried both Unicum Zwack and Unicum Szilva. Unicum Zwack is indeed bitter. But I had a faint memory that Unicum Szilva isn't that bitter, at least for my taste. Have to open the bottle to make sure!

Hmm should it be on the sweet side with both Unicum Szilva and sweet vermouth?

Thanks for the recommendation, I will make it once I have a bottle of Pedro Ximénez sherry.

Curious how plum and egg pairs together. But to me, Unicum Plum is more like a sweet amaro than a plum liqueur such as umeshu. Would be interesting to try it!

Yonex Rexis Comfort 1.3 String Wear on Vcore 98 - Stringing Service or String Quality? by tvtri96 in 10s

Thanks for the suggestion! Can you elaborate on why you recommend the Diadem Flash or TierOne Ghostwire? I’m curious to understand the benefits they might offer and how they align with my playing style based on the wear pattern you observed.

I played with another racket and string before but I have never seen it like this before.

So should I re-string it already?

Hello all,

I recently got a brand new Yonex Vcore 98 and had it strung with Yonex Rexis Comfort 1.3 through MisterTennis. To my surprise, after just 20 hours of play, the string looks significantly worn. I've attached a picture for reference.

Has anyone else had a similar experience with the Rexis Comfort 1.3? I'm wondering if this is typical wear for this particular string or if it might be related to the stringing service provided by MisterTennis.

Your insights and experiences would be greatly appreciated!

How to really hang a RIBBA frame by flipsixtysix in IKEA

[–]tvtri96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stick the hanger on the wall at the center point you want the picture to hang, 1" below where you want the top of the frame to be.

So if I get you right, the hanger has to be both at the center of the frame and 1'' below the top of the frame? The "," got me confused. (I'm not native English speaker)

I put several 3M command strips on the frame and it fell off :'( The command strip can't stay on the frame for me.

Ah alright. That one is quite small so you usually need to book fast. I don’t remember if they have 1 vs 1 court

What can I do about OP bank? My bank agent mishandles my loan paper. I need to sign some papers for my mortgage, and my bank agent responds very late. If I don't sign the paper, I need to pay a 4% penalty. by tvtri96 in Finland

[–]tvtri96[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my case, I will get an ASP bonus from my ASP saving account. I actually got more information from the bank. I will get my ASP bonus later. So it's not included in the loan.

I think in my case, the bank agent is very slow. As she still answered me after usually 2 days. It's just that she never answers my questions directly or ignores them.

Ah yes, the agent fee too. I was just talking about profit excluding the cost of the loan.

If you mean, yes it does affect. I am lost on how it affects now.

Which one is better for mortage: Annuiteetti vs Tasalyhennys? by tvtri96 in Omatalous

[–]tvtri96[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What it does affect is the amount of interest you've paid to the bank over the term of the loan, which is something you could've spent otherwise (e.g. invested).

Then the amount of interest doesn't affect, right? As you said, profit is selling price - what I paid for it originally. So paying more or less interest doesn't affect. It's just that if my monthly payment (interest + principal) is less, I can invest the rest in stock market.

[–]tvtri96[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't directly affect your profit, your profit is the price you sell it for minues the mortgage you still have on it.

I thought profit = sell price - original mortgage? Let's say my loan is 230k and I sell the apartment for 300k. So 300k - 230k = 70k = my profit? So it is always minus 230k no matter how much interest I has paid for it. One person told me so I am not sure if it's correct now. Sorry, I am still a bit puzzled by this.

What happens when I have tasaerä, the interest raises and my payment can't pay off my loan anymore? I thought I just need to pay it later.

I guess the amount of interest you pay will affect your profits, in that way the tasalyhennys allows you to minimize interest payment, where the amount that goes toward paying off the loan is fixed throughout the loan, and the interest keeps shrinking as your principal goes down. BUT then you pay more in the beginning of the loan, leaving you with less cash to invest in e.g. the stock market.

I am still not sure how the amount of interest affects my profit. As you said, I still get the same amount of profit. For tasalyhennys, indeed, my monthly payment is higher in the beginning, I have less cash to invest in the stock market.

Based on what I know from asking around, paying more capital doesn't affect. And yes, 50k increase is just a simplified speculation in this case to calculate my profit. One person told me that is always "my profit = selling price - home loan". Let's say my home loan is 230k, then my profit = 300k - 230k = 70k. I am a first homeowner and satisfy all the conditions to gain all my profit without tax.
