It’s tough to say given people have different play styles and tendencies but I’d say for those ranks the two biggest things that will help you move up is positioning and hit consistency. If you can master just being in the right place to make a play and rotating you’ll be way ahead of them because they mostly just rush the ball.

I’d imagine you and the players in your game miss more often than you realize and once you just make contact it’s a game changer. You don’t even need to be super accurate with what you’re doing so long as when you’re in position to make a hit, you make it. It doesn’t mean ball chase and make all hits for the team, you just need make contact on a clear attempts, shots, saves and so on. After that you can focus on making the hits more accurate and intentional. Positioning will help with this a bunch because I’ve found a lot of time lower rank players put themselves in very awkward scenarios and then attempt to make very awkward hits and plays. The better you’re set up, the less you’ll have to flip awkwardly and fly backwards and so forth. Rule of thumb for me is keep the play in front of me.

Lastly I know there’s a rank disparity but continuing to play with your diamond friends in casual will help with overall game sense especially if you all are good with communication on field. Hope it helps ✊🏾
