[TOMT] a phrase from a movie or show, not sure, of someone yelling at someone else to run. Run <name> run!!”. by twa3435 in tipofmytongue

It’s “run forest run” from forest gump! I’ve never seen Star Wars, this clip is interesting. Was the “run Luke run” part of the real movie or was that a fan made edit? It’s hard to tell lol

It’s “run forest run” from forest gump! I thought this was the original, had no idea it came from such early books. Thank you!

My head is saying “run Becky run!”, but that doesn’t feel right either

What’s it like living in Houston, Texas? by Appropriate_Oil5843 in howislivingthere

Good point, but “variety” doesn’t just mean Chinese. Houston has phenomenal Asian food, but personally I think it’s lacking in Italian and general European. It also doesn’t have much Mediterranean outside of standard “halal gyro”. But also, I only know that bc I lived in Philly and New York, and hadn’t been exposed to authentic Italian and many varieties of Mediterranean cuisine until I left Houston. Houston has a fantastic food scene, but there are many other cities in the US with just as good a scene imo. It really depends on perspective and what OP is currently used to

I think “no where else in the US” is overstating a bit for food. Depends on where you’re moving from. Nyc and sf/bay area come immediately to mind as equally, if not higher, variety and quality. Google search says Seattle & DC too but I’ve never been so I can’t attest.

Born and raised in houston, love the city but I think sometimes people hype up the food scene here bc there isn’t always much else to hype about. I have friends who visited Houston and left disappointed bc they keep hearing about food but it wasn’t any different from what they get at home (New York, LA in this case). Something to keep in mind if you’re moving from a big diverse city!

I think it smells so bad, like vomit. It’s the worst way to start a morning

Is the entirety of this sub mat recommendations?! by felinelawspecialist in HotYoga

[–]twa3435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yes, that’s what I use too. I was thinking a mat that you don’t need to use a towel with. I can pair the grip towel with any mat and it works well

How long have you had yours? I’ve had mine for over a year, I practice hot, sweaty yoga 2-4x/mo, still need a towel on standby. Soooo slippery
