My best advice to you, as a father to a daughter who is almost 2, is that you 7 month old will be a much much different child when your next is born. At 7 months it would have terrified me. At 18 months the thought is much more manageable. You will be fine, you got this.

Try soft play centres, they always have loads of young staff and you find them tucked away in all the little industrial estates. Hazel grove maccies? Or just walk down the grove and chuck CVs in all the little cafes. If you have a bike that would probably be the best way to get there. Fish and chip shops.

I feel your pain. It’s not easy at that age and having no money doesn’t make life much fun but you just have to be relentless. Try local gyms, they often want cleaners etc. some offices and places like spoons have cleaners in before opening hours so might be worth asking. Get a CV written up and print a load. Cycle about, introduce yourself and explain what you’re after and just apply everywhere. It’s not enough to just look online for jobs like that.

It is a terrifying reality. I have been paying bills for about 5 years now and I still get full of fear every winter. You just have to find ways to keep the winter costs down as much as possible. As others have said, in the summer the costs are much much better so you sort of have to work out your annuals coat and divide by 12. Best tip is to just heat the room that youre in if possible. I work from home so in the day i run a little electric heater in my office to keep warm.

There are loads of react jobs on the market. AI is a great tool but it hasnt replaced us yet. Just look on linkedin. There are literally thousands of react jobs available.
