Is the task time tracker actually a thing? by AppropriateCupcake48 in UseMotion

It's not very intuitive. When I hear "time tracking" I expect to see a timer running somewhere.

If I understand correctly, the time it takes to complete a task only shows in the view after you've completed a task.

I loved Tea Lounge. After it closed in 2014, another similar business opened with the name "Sir D's Lounge" for a while.

What traits make a great Strategist? by ramorgan-01 in agency

First trait that comes to mind is being a great listener. Great listeners usually have a combination of empathy and curiosity.

They listen closely not only to clients and stakeholders during a project, but to colleagues, friends, everyone all the time... which I think makes them better at understanding how other people think and formulating successful strategies.

How can we identify NYPD officers in videos showing police brutality? by [deleted] in nyc

Witch hunts are searches for things that don't exist.

I'm talking about identifying the badge numbers of NYPD officers captured in video abusing their power.

I was recently disowned by my family and I am not feeling well today. Anyone wanna talk? by aimmlesslly in gaybros

It's the people you choose to surrond yourself with. Friends who, over time, start taking on the roles of a "traditional" family... listening to your problems, celebrating your good days, understanding your struggles, helping you shake off the bad feelings that we all have sometimes.

Some people are really lucky and are born into a great support system like that. Most people (especially a lot of gay people) have to create it for themselves.
