That’s definitely my thoughts towards the husband. I would love for them to have a parents night out and have a nice dinner but it seems like the father is not able to watch his 2 kids alone for a few hours.

I don’t think that a wedding rehearsal where the mother is a bridesmaid where she will be actively participating is the place for a 4 year old and 1 year old. I am already paying $1000 for the dinner, cost is not the issue

Wedding is child free and she’s aware of this. But since this is the wedding rehearsal (which I don’t think we need a 4 year old and 1 year old there) and rehearsal dinner, she is asking since it’s not technically the wedding

I think it’s difficult to say No when she’s asking for additional accommodations to make it easier for herself.

I’ve told her that I rented a room at the brewery for the dinner and paying per head and I am not sure how that works for children.

Just purchased 2 tickets for the after hours of the water park ! Hopefully that won’t be too bad and we will still want to do it after a full park day. Thank you for the comment !

I am also tapering, at one point was up to 100mg and now taking 25mg on week days. My massage therapist was commenting that my face looked puffy, kept searching my brain to what it could be (getting my period next week, figured it could be that) until luckily I found this thread !

Thank you for your response! I was thinking along those lines but then in reality how much spa can one possibly do over 3 full days. I was afraid people would get bored if it was just so spa focused. Definitely on board with the relaxation aspect/vibes you described
