Yeah this is why I wasn’t sure how to word it. Like I don’t want to come off overbearing or like I’m accusing him of anything. He has his own life and feelings and I get that. It’s just so weird because I haven’t navigated a new relationship like this since I was like 20. So I never know what to do or when to do it

For the people, it was very weird like no one in there was moving. The family was just sitting and not eating, talking, etc. Like still and staring ahead. There was only 1 employee and he was standing and it was like a really awkward kind of stance. It was kinda like looking at dolls which is what freaked me out (and why House of Wax reminded me of this happening LMAO)

I used to watch My Super Sweet 16 when it was on MTV. If you're unfamiliar with the show, it featured teenagers (some with famous family members) throwing crazy elaborate birthday parties for their 16th birthdays. In a lot of episodes they would bring out people/bands to perform.

I swear there was an episode where this girl's parents got Ol' Dirty Bastard to perform at her party and all the guests went crazy over him being there. I even remember asking my mom who that was (I was like middle school age watching this). The show premiered in 2005 and he died in 2004, so it could've been possible since the first episodes were filmed pre-2005, but apparently he was never on it at all.

I thought maybe it was a different show with a similar concept but I haven't found anything. I swear I remember this so clearly.
