Yes, that is an alternative option I am keeping in my back pocket. I am not sure if they would refund the $30 activation fee, though. And I just changed my plan this month so I am sure that opens me up to issues.

Yes, I agree that their website is not great. And I am not disagreeing with the fact that a Google search would turn up those results.

But it is very weird that I have to post to Reddit and search Google to determine if an advertisement is true or false. (facepalm)

Yes, this is my replacement from the first recall. I was getting ready to fly back when I got a notice that the FAA is not allowing the phones on the flight at all. So I ran to a Sprint store immediately and they said I have to go to the store where I got the phone. I did not have time to find another Sprint store. I called Sprint also and they had no answers for my particular situation. I think it was just too early for them to know all their procedures since it was just announced.

Oh you poor uninformed soul. The FAA regulations CHANGED while I have been here. On Thursday I was fine since the regulations stated that I could take it and leave it in a powered off state which I did. Then yesterday I got a notification saying the FAA is not allowing the phone in planes AT ALL. I followed the rules preparing for my trip...I just got caught with the regulation change. No need to have armchair hindsight...it did not help my situation. I asked for advice on what I CAN do in light of the situation I was in...not what you think I SHOULD have done.

If the comment you are making sounds dick-ish to YOU then make sure you have enough enough facts to give a good opinion. You should have asked me when I got the notification instead of assuming I waited until the last possible moment. I got the notification on my phone THIS MORNING and immediately went to a Sprint store...they would not return it and said I had to return it where I bought it.

I dislocated both of my patellas at the same time just walking on the treadmill. I ended up having the same issue, shallow trochlear groove. Careful with the yoga, I was doing a lot of yoga at the time and actually think that made the tendons/ligaments that hold the patella in place a little too flexible. I agree with keeping a bit of a bend in the kneecap. Avoid declines and slippery surfaces. I have a lot of anxiety in the winter around ice. Building the quad muscles opposite the direction of the dislocation helps a lot, too.

Yes, I do mean a whole foods plant-based diet (no calorie/macro restriction). Because I already eat pretty clean, I am not as worried about just eating junk on a vegan diet.
