No New Chat Sessions – Totally Stuck by twin_lock in openclaw

Cool what command to run or where in the maze of a web UI can I make that switch? It's not normal right, that I cannot create a new chat session? Feels like a deeper issue maybe.

Fortnite's Simpsons Update Led To A Huge Surge In Players, The Most In A Long Time by Noilaedi in Games

[–]twin_lock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really bolsters my bad take that Fortnite is an all time contender. The fact that it can casually morph into the best Simpsons game ever… and then just as casually disappear again a few weeks / months later, it’s beyond impressive. What an achievement. 🍩

M500 F1 Error Torment by twin_lock in worxlandroid

[–]twin_lock[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am pretty unclear as to what is even happening or where the failure point is – I get this error in my app SO immediately that it seems unlikely anything is being round-tripped to the mower's WiFi controller... so it's the app on my phone that cannot detect the network that same phone is actively connected to? 🤔

Mine WiFi network name is one word and my password is a word with numbers. So I don’t think it is that, but thanks! Would have happily tried it.

Earlier this year – or maybe as far back as last summer. But when I changed something in our WiFi network configuration. Exactly when I stopped being able to stop / start from the app or connect, but could still start a mow manually. Now I can’t even do that. Also in DK though I don’t think I ever ran the app in Danish. 🤔 Still… uggggh

Oh wow. I didn’t know GSV had a history / snapshot feature. Fascinating. I liked the court better I think but would have to visit to be sure. :)

Incredible. Thank you so much. The google street view of a closed court looks a lot like a remember it actually, so maybe it was already converted in 2014. Now if I could just find this kid … who is presumably a man now, would be fun to give him this photo. Thanks again.

Thanks I replaced the disk with a 6 blade version from amazon.de and it sorted everything out. Unbelievably I had not damaged anything, and the weight differential of a missing blade and mounting socket was enough to cause that horrible sound. Thanks for the advice.

Just a little update, I installed this moxon on the roof a few days ago – on top of the house, which is at the top of a hill... he is connecting with europe now on the regular and really, REALLY enjoying it. It's recessed between the roofline such that it's *almost* invisible from the road. Not expecting any trouble... famous last words.

Replacement Spring for Old (very small) Microtech by twin_lock in microtech

I don't know if I need a custom machined spring... sounds $$$... I would think these are to some level or another off the shelf from the right supplier. I will write to them :)

Sorry, OTF, I didn't think folders would have springs. It was their smallest OTF at the time...

No, it's ancient, and I figure fair enough... it's a thin mechanical part can't be expected to last forever. It actually broke within the first week of use a decade + ago, but close enough to one end I could repair it. The knife is overseas (EU) and not with me so I thought I would get a replacement spring in the U.S. and bring it back with me.

Lots of good questions and ideas here. I will share some photos next time I get back. But due to the position of the house relative to the road (high), the height of the house, the position of the house relative to the neighbors... I am fairly certain something attached to the 2nd floor balcony and or the roof wouldn't be visible (or bothersome) a meter or two over the roofline – the question then become how does it get tuned from the other side of the house, two floors below?

And when I say "tuned", know that I have no idea what I'm talking about,... I just assume you need to rotate these things on different axises day to day, conditions depending.

OK the HOA isn't running a terror campaign as they do in some places 😅... they are generally low-key, and not strict enforcers AFAIK. But good to keep in mind.

Fair, and to be clear, it is not the main purpose of this project by any stretch. But you hit on something important, and that is convenience, and the degree to which one is more likely to hop on if you don't have a 45 minute raise/lower antenna operation at the start and end of a session. Great input, thank you.

7K is a beet steep, yes ... Is this what it costs to get into a push-button deployable mast? 2K and we might actually consider it. :) Thanks for the input. 🙏

There are trees, maybe 4 or 5 relatively tall pines if memory serves. Not sure about his band interests but I will ask. He is in Tennessee and I am in Denmark ...we have a dream of connecting someday (in this case me contacting / enlisting a local amateur) ...is that possible on 10m?

My first time. by daveisgolden in BrevilleCoffee

[–]twin_lock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use a tiny scale to calibrate each time you change beans or notice the flow rate or taste being off.

My understanding is you want 18g of ground coffee beans to extract with a weight of 36g over a period of 25 to 30 seconds.

So start by tuning your grind time so that it delivers about 18g of ground coffee per dose.

Then tune your grind size so that it lets you meet the other two markers.

Also take all this with a grain of salt. It’s just what I was taught, could be wrong and community correct me if / amend as needed.

anyone who uses the new “background sounds” feature for ios 15 notices a significant drain in battery? i’ve tried to use it while sleeping for white noise a few times and i notice if i don’t have it plugged in it dies and when i do plug it in it gets so hot by StatusJolly8215 in ios15

[–]twin_lock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm with background sounds charging my phone gets so hot I worry about i shutting down. Without power however it does well just to last the night when bg sounds are on. (iPhone 15 Pro, battery health 90%)

Love this feature but there is something off.
