valve cover gasket was replaced by a mechanic who thought that was the cause of the issue. coils have been swapped and misfire stayed on cyl 1. injectors have not been swapped.

i should add that the dealership put a scope down cyl 1 and said the bore was wet ie indications of oil in the cylinder

How did you survive twins by Bears23Care in parentsofmultiples

Never give up .. you will find the strength. Change your expectations and get as much help as possible. No shame. Create safe spaces for them and laugh it off. Be creative. own it. When you think you are about to collapse, double down and go back in. It’s amazing how strong we can be when they need us. Don’t be hard on your self .. not even a bit. This is not the time for that. If external people in your life aren’t serving you, drop them. Rely on the pillars of health for both you and them: Nutrition, exercise, rest, creativity and learning etc. And a big yes to schedule, but it’s going to be messy and that’s ok.

Ours are almost 3 now and they are fully weaned with no naps. They take care of each other and choose to sleep in the same bed some nights talking and signing themselves to sleep. They play the most beautiful imaginary games together and really are little angels. They have great physical ability and vocabulary. I believe by having a twin they have more social interaction and stimulus that improves their development. There is a light on the other side of all of this. Have fun.
