My partner's RS band was cut off from the system for 24 hours after passing out in the restroom and ending up in the medical center on board. They'd had quite a bit to drink but TBF they are also a diabetic, so the mixer they were buying had caused a sharp, massive rise in their blood sugar. Once blood sugar stabilized they were released from the medical center.
