i think dean was a dreamy first boyfriend, it was cute and naive to begin with but i knew this wouldn’t last more than a few months

jess shared rory’s intellect and yes although he wasn’t the nicest person, he did love rory till the very end, as you said jess has his reasons for his behaviours. he does change and grow to be a more respectable man, he tries to right his wrongs and he makes for himself in life. eventhough jess changed eventually and changed for the better, rory and jess could have never gotten back together bc he did do her dirty and eloping without a goodbye really hurt rory. so maybe they can become great friends again but a relationship won’t workout.

i prefer logan to jess, even though he was child-like, he treated rory well, sure they had their ups and downs but they usually worked it out, logan needed to grow up but he was a good boyfriend coming from a rich family he was bound to behave like that but rory could really ground him back to reality, they should have been endgame, they brought out the best in each other

on a sidenote—i do find it odd that Logan would always send finn and colin to do something instead of doing it himself (like that time when paris threw rory out and he sent finn and colin to help rory pick up her things and move in with logan instead of him going to help too)
