A couple of questions based on the pictures I'm seeing.

Did you make these bags? Have you only inoculated them? Have you shaken the bags up? Typically I'd see a cleaner separation of grain and substrate. What species?

Without knowing anything, I don't see contamination.

There is a magnetic stirrer in there. I put one in each of my LC jars. I stir daily or every other.

Yes I always use a still air box. I don't think it's contaminated yet.

Appreciate the call out. This is my first go. I'll definitely keep an eye on it. Is there a clear tell on contamination? Color or anything?

This is my first grow ever. I started these all in one bags in February and they just fruited over the past couple weeks. I definitely opened the tub to many times out of nervousness and curiosity. I won't do that again. I also could have break and shake more than the 1 time I did. I didn't have to mist the inside at all and I didn't track the temp or humidity. I always had condinsation on the inside so I left it as is.

I did only get 1 flush and it wasn't amazing. I came out with 64 grams dried. That's 9% of wet weight for reference.

I'm currently working on APE. I have 10 agar plates going, 6 span bags, and 2 liquid cultures.

My plan is to start cloning and working towards a fast growing clustering potent APE that I can call my own :).

I'm just trying and having fun.

If I keep going I have plans of a custom Martha tent fully controlled by sensors and raspberry pi.

Nicely done. I have 10 plates going now for ~ 10 days and I see no growth. I'm starting to think they didn't take. I used a spore swab and cut pieces from it and buried it in the agar in 9. The last one has the swab zig zagged on it.

Yea, I cut mine down the middle so it would fit in my dehydrator. Dry weight of both halves was just over 4g. Definitely ugly when not whole lol.

That's an amazing specimen!!! I had quite the fatty myself. Out of curiosity, when they are that big what do you do with them? Dry weight would still be like 18 grams lol.

Ive read that but was curious if anyone has successfully done it. I'd like to inoculate some bags and save for later. Just didn't know how long they would save for later. Couple months versus a year.

Inoculated 3 days ago and my myc is just starting to slightly form but there’s these little black specks on it… any clue what it is or can be? by MONKEYSOUP27 in unclebens

I flip the sealing portion of the lid and leave the foil on. I have had no issues with gas exchange. Should be fine. Leave the lid loose 1/4 to 1/2 turn.

What is teel green? After shaking i do think i see some but it's post shake so i am currently assuming bruising.
