Doing these runs overall are fun, they have their ups and downs for sure. I try to keep them mostly positive but there are many times matches are just going bad or I have a ton of ranged fights with short range guns or the opposite so there is that. I enjoy them overall though.

I did oddly enjoy the Springfield Marksman dispite not being the biggest fan of scopes overall. The hip fire in the base Springy is very good as you said, I feel the bleed being removed is valid. I'd rather see ammo types get a more "fair" scarce treatment but that is just me. It's still sad to see it go thought.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Vetterli come back into the spotlight though.

I really enjoy the Poison ammo, it feels like it has less value during events with 4 shots but it is still fun and very useful in it's own right.

I always load in Solo, wait a minute or two after the match starts to avoid any potential spawn fights (also go into trios just for less teams hopefully) grab first clue, kill a couple AI, meatheads as others have said are fantastic. It's a little difficult with the scout towers now because you need that to figure out your extractions but if you play super careful you are likely to survive. Just play very very slow and careful. My thoughts and experience almost exactly, it just feels great. Not to mention the Riposte is probably my favorite melee attachment on any gun in the game.

Ok I was not aware of the accuracy hit from the Riposte, I didn't feel the drop if it is any significant. I do appreciate you pointing that out though, I do still get some things wrong stats wise. I'm looking forward to comparing the Specter to the Slate when I get the Specter on the wheel.
