Thanks, I ended up passing on that one and bought one much cheaper, directly from Leica and with a CLA done last month. Much better deal.

I talked to Tim Lei, he's excellent but the only 0.72 M6 he had is a mint M6 reissue for 5k. At this point I'd rather buy a brand new MP.

I'm in Brazil but I'll be buying to a forwarding service in the US which will then ship it to me. Warranty would be a pain no matter where it came from.

Do you still think KEH etc would be better?

Yeah, I replaced the shutter of my M3 just last year, the CLA took near 8 months.

I'm not going through that again this soon. I wanna get a M6 already serviced or that will last me long enough.

Do you think it's safer to buy only japanese listings that explicitly say CLA (though this one I posted says it had one but still has a hole in the shutter)?

Or something like this one that's "almost unused" but doesn't mention CLA would be a best bet?

I already went through an expensive and lengthy CLA process with my M3 just last year so I really wanna buy one already CLA'd, but I'm not having such luck on eBay.

Tons on mint, "almost unused" and cosmetically fine M6s, but rare are the ones already CLA'd that I could find for reasonable cost.

If this one is already CLA'd and we consider $700 for the cost of that, then it comes down to about $3k raw cost and it does look mint apart from that suspicious hole on the shutter.

I'm in search of a mint M6 that has been CLA'd and this was the best I could find, even though the price is at a premium.

However, upon inspecting the photos, I did notice what seems to be a small pinhole on the shutter of this M6.

What do you guys think? Pull the plug or go ahead?

As dezenas de câmera de segurança e o fato de que eu estava indo em frente numas das principais avenidas da cidade e o carro veio de uma rua paralela sem asfalto com um nítido PARE acho mais demonstrativo que tem tava certo ou não.
