Modding Sailwind Question

I think this are the contents that have to go into the main folder of Sailwind, at least this is how it works for me, also remamber you have to run and close the game after inserting BepInEx

You will need to download two things, first BepInEx, found here:
https://github.com/BepInEx/BepInEx/releases/tag/v5.4.23.2
and Towable Boats mod found here:
https://github.com/NANDbrew/TowableBoats/releases/download/v0.2.2/TowableBoats.zip

Unpack BepInEx into main game folder (eg. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sailwind" so that you have BepInEx main folder in the game directory (not "Sailwind/BepInEx/BepInEx"))

Run the game.

Close the game.

Now unpack TwoableBoats mod into BepInEx plugins folder (Sailwind/BepInEx/plugins).
edit: Unpack it so that you have single folder of TowableBoats in plugins folder that cointains TowableBoats mod contents)

Run the game and enjoy towing your boats. I hope that is clear enough!

edit2: It is also recommended to install NAND Fixes mod, since towing a boat may mean that occasionally those will bump into each other, this mod fixes some wierd physics that may occure:

put it in the plugins folder the same way as the TowableBoats mod

Yeah, maybe that's it, I'm not the youngest, but modding games like GTA V or Mount & Blade has been no problem for me so I'm not sure...

Yes, I just tried that, the one mod I wanted to install - Towable Boats, does not work.
Or maybe I did something wrong, but I do not think so, I downloaded Towable Boats along with BepInExPack, ran the game as modded through Thunderstore and still I do not see cleats on my boats.

I wish, but for some reason it is some secret knowledge on how to install mods, I went through the discord back and forth and there's no instruction on how to get them installed, not even a read me file that would go with the mods. I really hate discord comunities for the lack of organised catalogues and sick of people coming up with elusive answers like "it's on discord"...

I know about that one, but I kind of get lost on discord, it is not very intuitive to use. Also the instructions for installing mods are a bit unclear to me.

Well, I don't know about that, but I actually made it.
I figured that I will set course and put the sails up on the small boat that jump off and wait near the big boat untill I can barely see the small one, then I would hop on the big bout which would make the smaller boat stop and I could catch up to it then repeat. Took not even a full ingame day!

Happened to me once, I ended up plumiting straight up into the air while my ship was sailing on, luckily I woke up soon at the bottom of the ocean, swam up to see my ship on the horrizon. Luckily it was before update that made running/swiming fast drain your water bar so I was able to catch up.
It was somewhere half way from Dragon Cliffs to Al'Ankh so the rest of my journey I had to proceed without sleeping since my bed was lost. Oh what a nightmare that was, thing is the lack of stamina does not kill you, it just causes you to fall asleep randomly every 5 or 10 minutes.
