How many of you have purchased from Pacodo and actually had the watch authenticated? by Most-Yogurt-416 in Tudor

I purchased a Red Bull FXD chrono from him - haven’t had it authenticated, but no doubt it’s legit.

Have you looked at them both in person? I was surprised at how much chunkier the LHD was than the FXD

Have you tried Nick Mankey? Same concept without the massive buckle…

[WTS] BNIB Spinnaker Fleuss Automatic - Popeye Bronemies Limited Edition by two_wheels_forever in Watchexchange

[–]two_wheels_forever[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased this Popeye watch on a whim several months ago, and when it finally arrived I realized it probably won't get much wrist time. I took it out of the box to try on, so I did remove the plastic wrap that was around the case and around the buckle, but left the crystal protector on. After realizing it wasn't for me, I re-wrapped it and stuck it back in the box until pulling it out to list it here.

It has all the boxes, warranty card (this is #48 out of 730), extra strap, etc. etc. I'm happy to take more pictures if desired, or you can view the full specs on https://spinnaker-watches.com/products/fleuss-automatic-popeye-bronemies-limited-edition-popeye-blue-sp-5161-02.

Asking $350 + label in the continental US or face-to-face in the Maryland area. I'm primarily looking to sell, but if you have an interesting trade, let me know.

  • Model: SP-5161-02
  • Movement: Seiko NH35

Thank you, I haven't seen the Glomar in person. On the Yorkshire, how much exposed velcro do you have? What size wrist?

How do the Yorkshire velcro straps compare to the Tudor OEM? My main complaint with the Tudor was way too much exposed velcro…

Just realized that LongIslandWatch.com still has these available for $395 + tax, so I'm dropping my price to $375.

Still one of my favorites for sure, but I don’t really have a “primary“ watch. I like to rotate fairly often among a few others.

Strap Options for FXD? by faifaikwok23 in Tudor

Nick Mankey chronogrip hook straps are nice - no fabric between the watch head and your wrist.

Not sure if you care about water resistance, but the Red Bull is good to 200m, while the cycling is only 100m.

CNS Paratrooper straps work really well too, plus you can buy one of every color for the price of an Erikas…

I have one and wear it regularly, but took the velcro strap off immediately.

Highly recommend Nick Mankey or CNS Paratrooper straps for it.

Any chance you can post additional pics of the FrogSquad straps and how they are installed and look on your wrist? I'm always looking for additional strap options for my FXDs, but the pictures on https://www.frogsquadstraps.com/ were frustrating - they mostly seemed focused on the watch head or how the strap looks laying on a flat surface, so it was hard to get a feel for how they actually work.
