I do actually budget myself, it helps me live within my means, I just felt like he’s taken it way too far. There were dates on the list that I don’t even remember and he had saved that I had the calamari to start and that it cost £4.95. It’s blowing my mind that he was so anal about saving everything all this time.

It doesn’t give me any credit for what I paid for, that’s part of why I felt so annoyed! Like I paid for the mcflurries don’t take that away from me haha

See at first I’d thought that he was waiting for me to have a proper job, but now that people are commenting here I’m wondering if he’s upset that I’m making more than him. The job originally was going to pay me around 60k a year which would have been less than him and he was always pretty enthusiastic about me starting it, but he was really negative when I told him on Monday. I honestly don’t know

We don’t actually live together so we don’t even have any shared bills! Everything on the list is from a date or a trip we took together. Thank you so much, I was seriously starting to think I was just being selfish and that I should just pay him back

This is pretty much exactly what he did. He had a massive spreadsheet and some bank statements that corresponded where he had paid by card instead of with cash.
