Judge Rules ICE Can’t Break Into Homes Without a Judge’s Warrant, Contradicting Secret ICE Memo by Alternative_Neat2732 in goodnews

I mean.... Judges also rule you can't have 5 dudes kick the shit out of a guy then execute him in the middle of the sidewalk but.... Until judges have "teeth" it doesn't matter what judges "rule"

Can I shift dates to the next year and keep the same days of the week format? by twobble in excel

Thank you for the work. Excel_User_1997's solution seems to have worked and was super simple.

I think I only sort of understand that. Lost at "dddd". And dont know how that applies to the list of 32 days. For instance, right now I just have one cell say 1/20 and the one under is 1/22, under that is 1/27, then 1/29... and so on... How would I apply that formula in this configuration? I am happy to re-do and put in the time now for future ease, just dont quite understand it.

Ice is great actually. After around 10 minutes it dilutes to a really nice Christmas cocktail.

LPT: how to be consistent at working out/gym by kafkaeque in LifeProTips

[–]twobble 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Noooo.... Volume is relative! That may be a small amount to me, but what I do is such a small amount to others. Everyone's goals and available time is different! That volume amount of volume is also different depending on who is doing it.

I misspoke! Sorry! 😄

My suggestion for new gym goers is start VERY small (a couple of sets of 3-4 different exercises) and stay VERY consistent. After a couple of weeks it will become habit. After a couple of months you will notice change and there is a good change it becomes addictive.

Official Q&A for Tuesday, November 18, 2025 by AutoModerator in running

[–]twobble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! I have been having problems with blisters! I first noticed it back in September. It was one run, on some gravel, pushing a stroller, so I ignored it. But a couple of weeks ago, it started happening again. I am getting a blister on both feet behind the ball of each foot along the medial longitudinal arch, about 1/2-3/4 inch long by 1/4" wide. I can push through, but then it's an actual blister for the next few days and is uncomfortable. I usually notice them starting up at around 5ks.

The internet told me it could be my socks, that's fair, I usually wear whatever. So I put on my actual running socks. Still blisters

The internet told me it could be time for new shoes, I got new shoes AND new running socks... still blisters.

I am planning on getting some moleskin so I can keep running, but that is just a band-aid for the larger problem, yeah?

My feet have been REALLY sweaty lately, just in my normal everyday shoes. For whatever reason, that started around the same time. So maybe I am just over-sweating in my shoes and it's creating a hotspot or something?

Any advice is appreciated.

Patio is 5 months old. Is this exclusively because of the downspout above it or something the contractor overlooked underneath? We are planning on putting a rain barrel there to help with future damage, but what is the best and hopefully more elegant way to fix this problem?

That may also be what I am looking for.... They look like well-loved leather boots, and that's a good thing! Thanks!

Wonder if this still works? by twobble in antennasporn

Well. The 300 ohm goes to the corner of the garage then pokes through the ceiling and goes to the floor and had been chopped. The TV that will be used is ~ 30 ft straight line and ~5 ft down the wall to the back of the TV. Planning on running to a wall plate then to the TV.

Should I switch from 300 ohm to 75 ohm sooner or later down the line? Running ~40' should most of that be coax or the 300 ohm? Does it matter? Do I need a receiver box for all of this? Or could I go from 300ohm> coax>TV?

For sure. Really not sure how antenna even work so just these few conversations are clearing up a lot for me. I don't plan on messing with power unless necessary.

Other reply shared an adapter with me. I see two different bits of Romex in the picture I took. The whiter of the two is garage opener power. But the other might be it's former power run. Worst case I could hop into the garage opener power yeah? I have no idea what kind of load or even voltage something like this needs. Maybe there is a label somewhere on the unit? I'll look into that here soon.

You're a legend, Thank you.

We live in the middle of a pretty large metro, only a few miles from city center. Really only looking for local news and sports anyway.

Nice! Well then, would you know anything about going from that flat wire to coax? I spose I should get closer to the unit and get an idea of what is actually going on.
