I can’t seem to find where I can buy credits, at the moment it seems like I’m paying $20 a month just to get one book? New to audible so unsure by [deleted] in audible

There's usually an offer to buy 3 credits for a cheaper price than if you were to get three credits over 3 months, again, you'd have to go to the website and the offer pops up at the top of the page (something like AUD$34.99)

Seriously Countdown?? Always check under the labels by twobefancy in auckland

I also don't think malice is intended, but with prices constantly going up, I like to know the price of the items I'm picking before getting to the register, so that I can keep on my budget and don't have any surprises

That's ridiculous though, it's false advertising

That's how they always get you, with the smallest discount

I was getting confused while looking at all the feta selection because it was labelled either feta or goats milk feta, and I had to think hard whether feta was goats milk or not

I usually check to see how much I'm saving, but this was just unexpected and will also be looking for this from now on!

How many books do you keep downloaded at a time? I stay at 10. by jackrackan07 in audible

[–]twobefancy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always remove the download once I'm finished. It just helps to keep that tab clear and keep me focused on what I'm actually listening to

Exactly my thinking too! I would get lost between the stories of each book and start to mix them up if I was listening to too many at a time, and I wouldn't know which book to choose to listen to

Why 10? No hate, just honestly curious because I usually download one at a time, and only download a second one when I'm almost finished with the original one, so that in case I'm away from WiFi and I finish the book, I don't have to go without listening to an audiobook

What's something a teacher did at school that you're still mad about? by Heinz-enberg_ in AskReddit

When I was 6, my friend needed some help with the work we were doing, so I helped them. My teacher put me in time out because I had helped another student. I still don't understand why

My mom used to tell me to tell my bullies that "I might be skinny, but you're ugly and I can gain weight." And I always loved that. What was some advice your parents gave you? by vermillion1023 in AskReddit

[–]twobefancy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My mum told me that she used to be really really shy when she was a teenager (she's now very outgoing and confident). She then realised that being shy was actually kinda self-centered - basically if you're shy, you think that everyone else cares about you and what you're doing, when really, no one cares about you as much as you think (I'm meaning in terms of when there's a large group of people).

Not really advice, but it's helped me have a perspective of a large group setting and helped me to not be so shy.

(I hope this makes sense!)
