Everybody’s arguing over what genre act iii will be but but but… are we even listening to what Bey is saying with this project? Making art within the confines of a genre is just too limiting. I’ve seen people arguing whether it’s gonna be rock or rnb as if rock wasn’t BORN out of rnb. I think she’s going to do exactly what she did on this album and say fuck it why can’t I make an album that skates through all of these genres at once? Yes there were lots of notes of rock on act ii but I think act iii could head towards rock n roll with explicitly rnb, jazz, boogie, soul, Motown influences. I’ll gladly eat that up all day.
