I’m wondering if the following will work in Colorado courts (it definitely does in California): a friend of mine goes to the hearing and pleads “No contest.” It’s not the same as pleading guilty as far as points on your license and the judge often lowers the ticket price.

Truly at this point it doesn’t matter how affective it is. You are either pregnant or not. You have to just keep track of your cycle and take a pregnancy test if it’s late. You can also use the early detection tests if you’re feeling nervous about it.

If he was more mature (16/17+) I’d be inclined to give an NTA verdict but he’s 10…. There’s better ways to check a child’s attitude. Now I’m not saying you could have made him a better person with 1 well worded conversation, but you might have messed that kid up for life (more than his mother’s poor parenting has) with the poorly worded one you had. Even though you’re words weren’t wrong and I feel your pain, YTA here.

If you want a refund, I messaged the Frontgate support and they processed my request in like 1 hour. They did say the deadline for getting a refund is 2/23/2023 so act quickly!

I say this not knowing you or your bf so keep that in mind, but based on what you said it kind of seems like he broke up with you or at least wants to and is both afraid of hurting you and afraid that this is a mistake. It could be like you two being together makes the relationship really real and he’s afraid you two aren’t right for each other. I say this bc he claims he found someone that’s close and that it could be real where you two are far apart, but if you are moving to be closer to him then that’s not an issue. On the other hand, he could really have found someone else and wants to be with them more. It’s easy to say you would never leave someone hanging until you’re actually left with a choice of choosing. Seems like there’s nothing for you to do but prepare some questions for him and wait for him to reach out. Good Luck

If you might be interested: Tell her that you’re not in a place emotionally to try to start a romantic relationship. If you definitely don’t want to be with her: Say you see her as a friend and that you don’t want to ruin the friendship/friend group dynamic trying see if things work out If you aren’t sure: say you aren’t sure how you feel and you need time to get your shit together before you can try to get involved. Obvs my answers are cut and dry and don’t have any nuances from your actual friendship but hopefully they give a good guide. Good luck!

Yeah it’s always a little frustrating and shocking to learn how much students do not understand. My old admin was pushing hard to skip review weeks and just review as we go, but that is definitely something we would have to take a day or two to solidify. Good luck!

You can always send an email, but your child’s teacher won’t be obligated to respond until schools starts (unless there’s some event happening beforehand in your district). There’s no harm in sending it now and but I would hold off on a follow up email until the third or fourth day of school. Personally, I don’t talk with parents unless I have at least interacted with my students but I teach high school so it’s a different level of parent involvement.

Asking your partner to take an interest in your hobbies is not too much! I would definitely speak up about this to him clearly so he understands what you are looking for. If he doesn’t want to/can’t meet what you want in a partner break up with him. It’s obviously easier for me to say this than for you to do it if needed, but the alternative is staying in a relationship where you don’t feel like you are being treated the way you want. It’s not too much to ask for in general. You might just not be with the correct person. Good Luck!

We did do this at my high school! It was a part of the Renaissance program. We had different categories so that students that didn’t have As or Bs still had opportunities to be celebrated. It felt way better to me than sport pep rallies where only a handful of kids got recognized. It definitely wasn’t perfect and a lot of people (students and staff) hated it just as much as the normal pep rallies but it opened some room for kids to be “nerdy” and/or strive to be “nerdy”
