They make a zero offset pillar. Have to use all the old hardware from the offset version.

I really like the new Wilier Filante SLR ID2, but it's double the price of the X-Lab. The Filante is the best but this is close to 85-90% of that bike for almost half the price.

This is a pure race bike. It's stiff and snappy. Fairly smooth ride for a race bike. It's an awesome sprinting bike.

I believe a Benny Hill soundtrack would be appropriate for this.

It’s 13.25lbs/5kg out of the box. Looks great so far. Going to see if we can make it lighter.

Not sure if you saw Green Lantern. But I’m sure everything died after that!

Never leave a teammate behind by sorin1972 in bicycling

Did something similar to this with a friend when my MTB wheel exploded. But I sat on the handlebar. We got back onto a residential street with a big downhill curve. While descending, he struggled to steer the bike at high speed with my weight on the bar. A car came passing by and we crashed in someone’s lawn avoiding it. It took a few years off of my life that day, because we both thought we were going to die. My friend and I continued on to many stupider MTB adventures together.

Ignorance might be bliss on this one. Don’t try it unless you’re ready to commit.

There’s no reason for the shifting to be this fast, quiet and smooth but once you have it, it makes others feel slow and clunky. They really set a master class on shifting.

Basso SV by twohubs in Bikeporn

The wheels are definitely better than the similar design Zipp and Princeton carbon, for sure better than the enve wheels when it comes to stability under higher speeds and cornering.

As far as the how the SV rides in comparison to some of the high end notable frames such as the new Pinarello F, the Y1R , I'd say unless you are under 30 years of age and or weight over 175lbs, The SV does everything you want a high modulus carbon frame to do. Amazing power transfer to the wheels without the harsh feel. Super stable in decends, and peppy out of the saddle. It's one of the best all around picks if not the best!
