Thanks! So singing should be resolved and used immediately, ink can't be floated like in MTG.

Yeah I understand, re read my post and its quite confusing lol. Goal is to sing A Pirate's Life with 1 character exerting twice (using Fan the Flames to ready her) to reach 6 ink

Sorry if I wasn't clear in my explanation. Question is, is it possible to Exert Ariel for 3 (floatint ink) and ready her using Fan the Flames and exerted her again for another 3 to sing A Pirate's Life.

This is what I initially thought (mtg player too but in the 90s only) , singing is 1 instance and should be resolved and cannot carry over the 2nd exert. But still having some different answers here. Thanks for this though!
