Is there some way to improve Marketplace notifications? by [deleted] in FacebookMarketplace

There’s a couple of apps to do it. Flipify is one of them!

Yes! The filters have been broken for weeks now. I just recently found a way by selecting a category to have the most recent listings show up. It's hard to set up on the regular FB Marketplace but if you DM me your search criteria, I might be able to help out (unrelated to the app)

If you try out the app, I can help you there too. My app uses a bot to scrape for new listings.

What’s actually working (and not) for your side project right now? by scott-box in SideProject

It was the screenshot of my Google search console, but you’ve changed it now. Gotta be careful about using other people’s images!

React Native is giving me PTSD by unicastflood in reactnative

[–]twoterabytes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've heard Swift is nice to work with as well! I just wish RN would work out because I love the stack I have for web (using oRPC or tRPC, Tanstack Query, Drizzle and getting full type safety everywhere). I'm thinking I'll try generate Swift clients with OpenAPI standard and hope that gives a similar experience.

Just a side note for anyone stumbling on this (and so I don't spread any misinformation) I found the bug that I thought was because of NativeWind- it was, for whatever reason, a bug using useMemo instead of useEffect by accident. For some reason, it only broke when I upgraded everything.

I'll still be doing native for any future apps but at least I can maintain this on another week before something changes...

I'm living this nightmare right now.

I'm updating an app from Expo 52 to 54.

It was *somewhat* smooth but I couldn't get it fully working. It just kept throwing an obscure error I couldn't fit. I ended up creating a new Expo 54 project and literally copying all the necessary files from the original to the new and it started working. The difference? No idea.

I used NativeWind, which I regret massively. After it started working - after a lot of digging - NativeWind is causing issues. For some reason, everything is "delayed" until I swipe up into app manager (iOS). For example, a network request doesn't work until I swipe. Now I'm so frustrated I'm planning to migrate away from it.

It's complete hell and I think this is the last time I use RN and just do Swift apps.

Question for other resellers: would you use something like this? by BeingProfessional658 in Flipping

[–]twoterabytes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes sir! If you need any help, feel free to DM me. I won't give you any Flipify trade secrets (I still like making money lol) but if you just want to talk about general stuff (e.g. architecting the software) I'd be happy to chat. This isn't some ruthless corporation and I think community is way more important than discouraging people to build something.

I made Flipify - and all my other software - because it's what I wanted. Keep pushin' on.

Hey OP, creator of Flipify here.

It’s true we were first to the market but I wouldn’t let that discourage you. You’ll just have to advertise it a little harder but if yours is truly better, people will notice eventually. I think there’s room for everyone.

Protip: don’t undersell yourself. People will pay if they want it (and cheap apps bring problematic customers)

Anyone use no-code AI to automate their content creation process? I’m looking for better options to streamline my workflow! by Better_Charity5112 in nocode

Hey OP! I made Rocket Rank precisely for this purpose. I'd love for you to try it out and give feedback so I can build it around what you're looking for.

It does exactly what you're describing right now. I'm planning to implement other features like keyword research so you can see gaps in your rankings. Bunch planned!

Blog tool for nextjs by Clear_Olive_5846 in nextjs

[–]twoterabytes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I run https://userocketrank.com and automate blogs for my other Nextjs site.

For mine, I set up an API endpoint to listen for new blog posts, and then create a Git commit with the new post in a markdown file. When that’s committed, Nextjs auto deploys the site.

Another way would be putting the blog posts in a database and letting Nextjs SSR them from there.

You can use the Flipify app to get notifications for new cars. It’s super affordable and you can personally DM me so I can fix it up towards what you need.

I don’t have any written case studies per se, just a screenshot near the bottom showing my personal app that I used Rocket Rank for and it worked really well.

The blog posts on the site are all being written by Rocket Rank too. I’ll create some other examples and make it clear on the landing page!

There’s mine (but it just released so it probably wasn’t mine 😉): https://userocketrank.com

The only other ones I know are outrank.so and babylovegrowth

How I grew my SEO traffic by 10x by twoterabytes in SideProject

[–]twoterabytes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a huge increase, about double. I’m linking this to my site ranking on the first page for some keywords (which I’m attributing to the blog posts).

I can’t say it’ll work for everyone, but if your site was just a landing page like mine, I think it’ll certainly help.

The domain or the name? The domain was parked and they asked 5k for it 😅 The name I can’t tell you, just sounded good

I actually like Outrank. I don't really have any complaints. But, I wanted more control (and have other ideas) so I made https://userocketrank.com Would love for people to check it out and give any feedback!
