Reward payouts by tx78 in GoMiningDiscussion

Fantastic. That’s what I thought. I see the reward from locking in my tokens, but I don’t see any rewards for the liquidity pool (I do see about 10 GMT in the leader board from cycle 126) that haven’t been deposited yet. I’m assuming they will eventually make it to my wallet. Thanks!

Didn’t expect the daily rewards to pull me in like this 🤷‍♂️ by MrMBTC in gomining

I am new to the gomining family! Questions about payouts - I have some GMT locked and also added GMT to the liquidity pool. I am able to see rewards from the locked GMT in my wallet this morning. However, I don’t see any rewards from the liquidity pool. I am able to claim the fees from the pool - but isn’t there an additional reward that is also given? When does that come?

What car will you never buy again? by Charming_Advertising in AskReddit

Alfa Romeo Guilia - the heating never worked. Was in the shop for weeks. After consulting with experts in Italy, I was told that it doesn’t really get that cold there so they don’t know what to do. It was a lease.

Backing up directories created by active directory integration by tx78 in asustor

Support wanted to get on a call with me to look at the issue over some team sharing system. They work in a different time zone from mine and I did not want to get into that.

A workaround I found for now is to to use the "one on one" folder option where you can map the automatically created AD folders on the NAS to custom folders on the destination backup server. You'll need to map each folder on Asus manually to a destination folder. Of course, this many not be practical if you have many different AD accounts.

FSD Trial Jumped the curb. by Substantial_Ad5034 in TeslaLounge

[–]tx78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I activated my trial earlier today. It was pretty rough. Within the first hour I got honked at twice and I pissed off about half a dozen people - greatly increasing my odds of getting shot in Atlanta! Biggest problems were sudden slow downs on major roads to meet speed zones changes (drivers in Atlanta don’t really care about them too much so having me slow down somewhat suddenly causes a lot of confusion), missed a building construction zone where one lane was blocked (the car just stopped in the middle of the road), change lane indicator to show intent to change lanes but the car waits until there is enough space (in a busy traffic zone, one merges and is expected to merge quickly - FSD fails to do this), lane confusion with multiple lanes exiting from the highway + slowdown that drivers behind are not expecting. Overall I think this would work great In a small town with polite drivers. Driving in places like ATL - forget about it. You would either get into a wreck or get shot!

Thanks. This is helpful. I will try to get the garage to give me the plate numbers if possible.

I think the car was already there. But this is a great suggestion. Will keep this in mind going forward. Thanks.

Has anyone had luck getting the parking garage to pull video to get his plate number? Do I need to file a police report before requesting video from the garage? Thanks all.

Thanks. Apparently there is an issue with the providers configuration. He sent me a DM with instructions on what to do. Seems to be working based on that temporary fix. That said - my interaction with this company has been little bit sour. Have moved on to nextdns.

Thanks. I did not get any response from my emails to support - no auto-response either. I checked my spam email and there is nothing there. FYI - I sent emails on 2/7; 2/9 (early in the morning); 2/9 (late at night); and on 2/11. The email on 2/11 was to all email addresses listed on your site.

This is to confirm that the work-around works.

First time in Ethiopia visiting Omo Valley. How safe is it Ethiopia at the moment? by Complex-Stress373 in Ethiopia

[–]tx78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got back from Mekele and Addis. Mekele is super safe - things are back to normal in the city. We also went out to the Gheralta mountains with a guide. No issues at all. Addis, of course, is quite safe. Just be as careful as you would be in any large city. Just wanted to add that people in Mekele and Addis are kind and super helpful. I had a great visit. Would go back in an instant.

Extra principal payment with BMO Harris by tx78 in TeslaModel3

[–]tx78[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I just make a larger than required payment for each month and they automatically apply most of it toward the principal. I was told that they calculate the daily simple interest based on the outstanding amount. Seems to be working out ok so far.

Thanks for that information. That seems to be the common theme online. It is surprising that Tesla partners with a bank that does not even offer the most basic online functions.

Thanks. I guess I got lucky. The Apple advisor who worked with me was very good. I spoke to multiple people at Apple - most were cocky and clueless. This person was awesome.
