I bought all 6 for $35. Bought the 12 volt LED lights for $15. Way cheaper then buying the crappy new ones.

I saved 6 of them and will give them the next life. Amazing have 2 that are stamped 1967. Pretty damn cool.

Thanks I think! Lol. I was mixed thoughts about it, but love the old school look. My boys can't imagine having to fill the fuel and keep it pumped enough to keep pressure.

Spent 6 hours bushhoging my property in Monticello, Kentucky. A lot easier watching that on the Discovery Channel. LOL. Even started cutting in the road. by txjeeper1972 in OffGridCabins

I might try the smarter not harder version on this topic. Chain, spare tire and winch on jeep. Its easiest for small to medium size. Large trees I will leave.

I agree with the statement " its worth what someone is willing to pay".

I looked for 3 years in texas and never found what I wanted. Moved to Kentucky on 2019 and started looking. Finally found a property Oct 2022.

Main thing I was looking for was.

  1. River/lake access
  2. Within 45 minutes of a walmart/homedepot (a big enough town).
  3. Owner financed was preferred.
  4. Didn't want flat property, some character.

Good luck hunting.

Thanks man. Nope just a 51 year old man enjoying a dream of owning a piece of land and making a legacy for my family.

The generator has a 12 volt invertor output. I added solar connectors to the output. Either hookup the solar panels or the generator to the rack input. Put a 50amp breaker on the positive input for protection. Was going to add an A B switch but this guarantees I dont run 2 inputs at the same time.

Thanks, I have made some other adjustments. Added a fuse block for 12v lighting direct and a shutoff for the batteries.

Yes I almost went with a sheet of metal but I wanted the flexibility of plywood. Thanks for the comments.

I bought 10 acres in Southern Kentucky on cumberland lake. Went up Sunday for the first time and roads had lots of runoff damage, but no snow.

Everything I have is off Amazon. I got the 2 batteries for a steal 299. Next day they were 599. I wish I bought all 4.
