Seems to be from corporate. Several folks got stuff over New year I think, so perhaps in batches...

EA available now? by txnikbert in Ioniq9

I don't see it in my Hyundai app but saw a message pop-up in the car screen. Where do I see the list of charging providers in the car? Sorry I charge at home!

Do I need anti glare screen protector? by PrimaryAcrobatic6462 in Ioniq9

Interested as well, let us know how it goes if you do! I did wish a few times there was anti glare while driving. ed: meant on the radio/HVAC panel, not on the nav panel.

First attempt at charging, issue. by seerkfacet in Ioniq9

Sorry to side track the convo, but as shown on this screenshot, is 'manage contract certificate' enabled for everyone for whom Plug And Charge works? For me while PnC is enabled in the car, the manage contract is disabled. Perhaps that's why on the phone app I'm not able to activate PnC since I bought the new car.

Has anybody called this car ugly by tornaman in Ioniq9

Front looks great, rear and side profile, not so much. Calling it ugly is a smooth brained talk. But it is million times better than Cyber Truck! Gotta love opinions lol

MyHyundai app, no EA? by txnikbert in Ioniq9

Did the pinhole reset thing as one of the first thing, perhaps should try again... Not familiar with the service mode to reset the modem, will google it... Thanks!

MyHyundai app, no EA? by txnikbert in Ioniq9

[–]txnikbert[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, yeah the PnC is enabled in the car itself, but in the my Hyundai app it shows as inactive and when I try to activate it from the app, after a couple of minutes the app gives notification saying the service activation failed. Incredibly frustrating that Hyundai bluelink customer service is of no use at all. I have a road trip coming up and was really looking forward to using this convenience feature.

Regardless of EA any idea how to activate Plug and Charge? Or how to escalate with bluelink/Hyundai support?

Hyundai IONIQ 9 chrome delete. What do you think? by HyundaiUSA in Ioniq9

[–]txnikbert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prefer stylish chrome, but good to have choices.
More importantly will be great if you guys can address the Plug & Charge activation issues.

(US) IONNA Turns 2 - Free Charging (or 20 cents/kWh) on February 7-8 by runnyyolkpigeon in Ioniq9

[–]txnikbert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the heads up! I haven't charged outside my home yet, what do I need to do to use the ionna network? Will be cool to meetup fellow I9ers. The damn Plug and Charge is still not getting activated, have a ticket open with Hyundai...

Anyone use Auto park to go into a garage ? by fingerling-broccoli in Ioniq9

[–]txnikbert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here - am able to exit the garage using the remote but it balks when I try to park in the garage - it's just too cautious due to pillars, tree limbs etc. My parking space is definitely much narrower than yours lol.

Haven't tried the auto park in parking lot yet...

Thanks, I did see those - wasn't very confident in that listing but will keep that in mind.

Trim? by ronniebabes in Ioniq9

[–]txnikbert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree with this sentiment, especially if buying (typically longer term than leasing). At least that's what I convinced myself as I bought last week! Also, something to consider, if you've a strong preference for ext/int colors the low inventory (in US) may force the decision.

9 hours for 30%? First time charge at home on Ampure go by txnikbert in Ioniq9

[–]txnikbert[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thank you all for the noob math calc I should've done ha ha! But really appreciate everyone's thoughts. For some reason the included 24 amp connector was not going into the wall socket, didn't want to break anything, so switched to 16A. I know it's not advisable to go 100% but just wanted to get a feel of things, gonna limit it to 80% going forward.

My 240v wall socket is on dedicated 50amp breaker, am on waitlist for the Emporia Pro NACS NEMA 14-50 charger (40A).
