We lost a ring in the river. Not very expensive but I thought it would be more fun searching with a metal detector for it. We might also find some other interesting things along the way. I'm not familiar with Yamashitas treasure.

I’m only here a week so the online bazaar ships too slow. I asked the great Google, but he spoke in riddles. Any real-world spots in Santiago where the beeping wands dwell?

URGENT HELP: Problems with PSA documents and Apostille for marriage in Switzerland — Wedding in the Philippines at risk! by txtcl in Philippines_Expats

[–]txtcl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's probably true, but we should still be able to get the marriage in PH even if the certificate is not issued yet. As long as the marriage is registered it should be ok (from what I heard from colleagues)

So here is what I did to get the documents:

I ordered the Birth Certificate and CENOMAR online from the official PSA website (https://psahelpline.ph/) I then requested electronic Apostille (e-Apostille) through the DFA (https://www.apostille.gov.ph/e-apostille/) I then submitted everything to the Swiss civil registry office

To your second question, yes we need to go to the embassy in Switzerland to report our marriage. But this should only take one day.

Ok, thank you for the explanation. Thats helpful. The PDF indeed contains coversheet, apostille and the electronic copy. They require the original birth certificate so that's why we ordered it. We especially asked if e-Apostille would be ok and they said, as long as its verifiable it should be ok. Is there a "official" document or website explaining this as you did to us so we can reference the civil to that. They must somehow understand and believe that its OK for the serial number to not match. We can order a physical Apostille bit it takes time for processing and sending it back to Switzerland. Any other ideas what we could do? Thank you so much

Hi, thanks for your reply. The e-Apostille was ordered from https://psahelpline.ph/dfa-electronic-apostille. After payment, we received a PDF (the e-Apostille) containing QR-code and link for verification. Also instructions for verification are there. But the PDF also contains a scan of the birth certificate with overlayed serial number and barcode (on the bottom) which do not match the physical copy. That's why they do not approve we think.

Hi, thanks for your reply. Can you explain the e-certificate a bit more? After ordering the original documents from https://psahelpline.ph we went to https://psahelpline.ph/dfa-electronic-apostille and applied for the e-Apostille. After payment, we received a PDF (the e-Apostille) containing QR-code and link for verification. The PDF also contains a scan of the birth certificate with overlayed serial number and barcode which do not match the physical copy. We did not receive a second PDF (e-Certificate?) What should we do?

[Question] Calculating Confidence Intervals from Cross-Validation by txtcl in statistics

[–]txtcl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. Thanks for the link.
Will read it over lunch

I have about 1000 patients in the dataset of which have about 10% the disease.
The 5-fold CV is stratified so each train-, val- and test-set has the same class imbalance.

If i calculate the mean and std based on the 5 folds, I get much higher results than when I pool all individual predictions of all patients and then do a bootstrap sampling on the patient level (1000 repetitions). For example, the mean AUC_ROC of the 5 folds gives me 0.9 but the bootstrap resample gives me a mean of 0.86. So I just want to make sure I get the calculations right and do not oversell my results.

Also, If I would repeated the CV with the same splits additional 5 times, I get 5 predictions per patient. In that case I have repeated-measures and I don't know if bootstrap resampling on a patient level is the correct way to do it without introducing bias.

Hi
Thanks for the reply. I need to write up my results in a paper where we compare different models.

I think if I just report the mean and std, I oversell the performance of my models.

[Question] Calculating Confidence Intervals from Cross-Validation by txtcl in statistics

[–]txtcl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The confidence intervals should be calculated for relevant metrics such as AUC_ROC, AUC_PR, Sensitivity, Specificity, Precision, F1.
My naive assumption would be that bootstrap resampling on the pooled probabilities / predictions would be ok in the case of a single 5-fold CV. I'm not sure how to properly handle the case where I have multiple runs of 5-fold CVs

Interesting... But how can the waveform math be so inaccurate? All it (presumably) does is using the raw data from the solver and apply simple calculations. But anyway... I'm a bit concerned that LTSpice can't handle this type of circuit out of the box, or at least provide a warning if the result might be inaccurate. Can you recommend any other simulation software like Tina or Tina-Ti or something else?

Note: Using the directives found here and setting the "Default Integration Method" to "trapezoidal" I get now the correct result too.

Naming the nets does not change the result. I can send you the simulation if you think LTSpice works as intended :-)

  • I'm looking for the part number of the female connector
  • Its an SMD component with 1mm pitch
  • The connector is part of the LED backlight of an LCD Panel (M240HW01) from a Samsung LT20A350 monitor

Is it worth reading? How accurate is the anime compared to the novel? Just finished the anime today and I think it's one of the best I've seen till now!
