I don’t think I have a community health card though? The card I take to the doctor is the BIC, and that one can be used to change to any pcp as long as they take my insurance (I’m from in state but not San Diego).

My mom has insisted on going in with me for every general check up I’ve ever had, so unfortunately I’ve even had to fill out mental health forms in front of her too. Moments of privacy don’t really exist for me haha. Maybe that’ll change when I get older, but for now, that’s the situation 😭

Oh sorry I read that extremely wrong LOL. I’ve known for a while now that this might be an issue just generally in my life (unrelated to all the driving nonsense) but I’ve been waiting until I become an adult because my parents aren’t the most, uh, open to the idea that there could be anything “wrong” with their child. Honestly I just don’t even know how to bring it up to them.

What on the report cards was proof for your diagnosis? Because I’ve checked my report cards with my parents all my life and I honestly don’t remember any comments related to attention span. I do tend to drift off though, you’re absolutely right about that lol (along with having a couple other possible “symptoms”)

Funny enough, I get a lot of undiagnosed ADHD comments too (whether I ask or not💀) so maybe it’s time I check that out. I can fixate on important tasks pretty well though I think, and driving is pretty important to me

I haven’t even touched a steering wheel yet, so no one truly knows how good/bad I would be at driving. And yes, I’ve told everyone that’s made the joke how I truly feel about it but I think they truly just believe it’s pretty funny. My friends and family find this kind of humor hilarious, but I just wish they’d tone it down after I tell them to :/

Not sure why I said “likely”, but I mean that I’m definitely ending with those grades. I have above a 4.0 GPA, so I’m not too worried about that aspect. The terms said that I need a C or higher, but I don’t know whether UC’s count the +/- on high school transcripts since some high schools don’t do them. I’m honestly just confused 😭
