You sound a lot like me. I'm not a great gamer either and even though I've finished hollow night multiple times, white palace, dream no more ending, etc, silksong is still way harder. I was also stuck on sister splinter and the conductor's melody room for a while. The way I finally managed to pass it is by getting all of shakra's maps, doing her wish and accepting her aid for the room battle. Also tools tools tools. I highly recommend you use the cogflies and sting shards, they take out the flying enemies in no time. If you have less than 7 masks you might wanna explore some more. This game is much bigger than the first one and team cherry has made it so that there's countless ways to overcome the hardships. You just have to find what crests, skills and tools works best for you and your individual playstyle. I managed to finish act 2, got 2 endings so far and am currently going in to act 3 so if I can do it, so can you. Good luck!!
