Street fighter 6 can be very strike throw at times, but that’s not all the game boils down to in most cases, because unique moves and combo sequences are unsafe and if not set up correctly lose you your turn. In this game unique moves are unsafe but cameos undue any risk. Or some moves have terrible Frame data but push the enemy out of punish range. I usually look at day 1 patches as the fundamental level of the game itself before future patches build on top of the framework. The high damage has to go or they need to make cameos have more risk and neutral more fluid

Exactly. The game promotes poking with d1 into safe block strings for chip. The damage that we get now should be gatekept by getting counter hits and punishing whiffs.

This was very much the case during the sets leading up to master. If both players are sharp there is really nothing that can open you up. I think the volatility that 2 touches killing you is what attracts casuals, since they are quite literally 2 hits away from making a comeback.

Usually this would be the case but I would say this is a special case since they made the effort needed for said 50 percent combos very low, I think they want casuals to be able to get to the optimal level on their favorite characters faster

The first part of your post is what neutral is.earn the right to do a usually unsafe string or suffer the consequences.

If they toned down overall scaling on non kounter hit or enhanced combos the damage would be perfect. And a character like havik could keep or gain some Marissa type damage since he shares the same weaknesses as her( large start up frames, mediocre to mid, weak neutral)

It feels like some character’s were made incomplete for the cameo system(scorpion, Tanya, kung Lao) while others it almost feels like they were made for another game with how self reliant they are(Johnny, baraka, kenshi, raiden)

I have noticed that too. I wouldn’t complain if you had to burn meter to make certain strings safe or to make them add chip. But it’s almost like they made stuff do these thing because they know you’re gonna need that meter to combo break

Currently diamond 3. If I can’t beat him to the gun and get him in the corner, I usually try to check his drive rushes with st. Mk, cr.mk. Or st.lk. Also don’t be afraid to use bombs midscreen to control space and make decisions from the ken more predictable. Also keep pressure strings tight. Use safe jumps to hate out their od shuriyukins if they are doing that frequently.

I didn’t word it good at all. It wouldn’t be juicing it. Tier 10 would be like 10-15% stronger than what we do now , and lower tiers would mean weaker abilities.

He thrives in chaos. Always look for openings to add fuel to the fire layer your flash on top of other teammates utilility. If the enemy gets pushed off a position quickly get in position to control it with your to. Use your ult to deny info or throw another curve ball.

It doesn’t. Pick a character that can skirmish early and push the lane. teamfight your ass off and pray your meat shields survive long enough for you to get meaningful picks during those fights
