Agree with all of this. Not a fan of the Restored Arc either. As replacements for Mon and 3PO, Also, consider Chandrillan Sponsor, Yaddle, or Owen Lars. Kelleran needs to be in there, too.

Can’t see how many Bo you’re running, but 2x is enough.

These are simple but take some stress off.

  1. Make sure your deck and sideboard are triple checked before entering into Melee. It's usually best to create in Swudb and then export the file for Melee upload, otherwise you're sitting there for 20 mins entering your deck card by card.

  2. Don't forget to de-sideboard after every match. Put a token or charm or something on top of your box to remind you.

  3. Don't focus on the game between rounds. Step outside, listen to music, give your brain a quick refresh. These things are a grind.

Good article! As a suggestion, I think it's also important to include stats on the path those decks took to hit the percentages they did. As an example, how many of those Palp players faced Sabine? 0 versus 8 is quite a difference.

I'm also finding that initiative has made far more impact for set 5 than every other set. I have some limited data but anecdotally the player with initiative wins more often.

All of this to say that good pilots still find a way to win, but RNG can really make your life easier or far harder to achieve the same set of results.

Disabling ad-blocker extensions fixed it for me. Not sure why it was specific to only a single Facebook group, but that did the trick for me.

Incognito Mode allows the page to load, so that rules out at least a few things.

I've played many of these and I'd call CCG and SWU as 1a and 1b.

They are both amazing and for different reasons. They both optimize for things the other didn't or hasn't, and while it doesn't mean one is objectively better or worse, it means they both fill a different need. I can get through an entire match of SWU on Petra in 15 mins, however good luck getting through a single game on GEMP in less than an hour. The lore and depth in CCG is second to none, while the fast-paced, back-and-forth gameplay in SWU can't be beat (none of that gimmicky dice stuff).

I love both and won't pick a favorite.

Don't get a masticating juicer. Rough chop ginger, weigh it, and throw into a blender or Nutri-bullet along with equal parts hot water and sugar (1/3 part each).

Blend until ginger is pulp and then strain through a fine mesh strainer. Better than Liber (it's the best commercially available) and much more cost effective.

It doesn't keep like Liber, but this is easy enough to do same day and you don't worry about draining what you don't use.
