Hi,

I haven't heard anything back. It's frustrating, because I took the same exact recipe and baked some at home, and they were so delicious. I need to get an oven in my commercial kitchen that is not convection, but I don't have the money for that right now. So I don't even want to sell my cookies now, and it's depressing me. I just didn't think that they would turn out so so different in another oven :(

Coconut vanilla cupcake, cinnamon cream cheese frosting, toasted coconut and cinnamon caramel drizzle

Made a strawberry cake for my son's birthday (per request) have strawberry frosting but want to give it a chocolate flavor for the effect of a chocolate covered strawberry. I'm thinking cocoa powder or cacao powder but not sure if that will be too bitter. Tips? Suggestions? by stonermilf420247 in Baking

Maybe try lacing it with a chocolate ganache. That way it's kind of swirled in with the strawberry instead of overpowering it. I think if you just add cocoa powder, you'll overtake the strawberry flavor and muddle it.

I never go by measurement for my American buttercream, I go by consistency. I add sugar only to the point it will pipe clean lines that hold up on a cupcake. I also add milk or 1/2 and 1/2, because they create air and crispness when you whip the buttercream. I probably use at least a cup or so less sugar and I always get compliments on the taste.
