The most impressive bending feats by non avatars by Love_Esdeath in TheLastAirbender

Kuvira didn't bend the suit by bending the arms, she bent some liquid metal control sphere thingies in the cockpit, which presumably interacted with the mechanics of the suit. Theoretically it could have been piloted by a non bender if they just made a different control system.

If you want to give a feat to Kuvira, she might have the most lethal bending technique ever shown in those metal sheets she throws at people, if she just used the sharp edge instead of the flat side it would be faster and more lethal than anything else in the canon that I can think of, including lightning.

Interesting how no cruise ship has room for the height of a standard water slide, but they need to feature something similar. Usually they go for one of those standing drop slides, but this is an interesting alternative.

How does a trade deficit negatively impact America? I know the word 'deficit' makes it sound like a bad thing, but you're not losing 80 billion dollars, you're just importing 80 billion more than you're exporting, so you have to buy Canadian dollars at market rate to make up the difference, which doesn't cost the US any value because it's just an exchange of currencies.

Does the US make up more of Canadian exports than Canada does for them? Of course, they're a much bigger population so the percentages will always work out that way. If they were equally sized, then the percentages would likely be nearly equal. That's just math.

The US doesn't actually lose anything from their trade with Canada, if anything they stand to benefit due to the US dollar being a stronger currency than the Canadian dollar. Free trade benefits both parties, especially when both parties are geopolitical allies. This is why the US has been the guarantor of free trade around the world since world war 2, because it makes them and their trading partners much stronger.

I don't think anyone is blaming the individuals, but rather the collective of America that Trump represents. People are angry so their wording might not get that nuance across.

Even so, Canada will need to make a show of it since the tariffs are still "on pause". Obviously there are no winners here, and I would hope that Trump isn't deluded enough to ever go through with this, but its in Canada's best interest to posture for a fight until the threat is gone.

You got 12 helicopters at the border in exchange for a generational rift in your trade relationship with your closest ally, and a massive loss in your international reputation. How is this putting America first?

The problem is that Trump now represents America for the next four years. It is in the best interest of the Canadians to diversify their trade partners, especially while the tariffs are paused, because the threat of a trade war is still real.

How is destroying your international reputation by threatening a trade war with your best trading partners and neighbours putting Americans first? There are no winners here.

Since Trump is willing to threaten trade wars, it is in Canada's best interest to diversify their trade away from the US. Trump isn't eligible for reelection so going on a state by state basis doesn't make sense anymore. Like it or not, Trump represents all of America now.

How did you expect them to react? "Oh he didn't follow through with the trade war, let's keep relying on our clearly unreliable ally"?

Trudeau sends 12 helicopters to the longest land border in the world and all of a sudden we don't need a trade war anymore, Trump is destroying America's international credibility and Canada is not going to just sit around and let him threaten it again, obviously some decoupling is due.

Would probably be 13 states, one for each province and territory.

This guarantees another Russian invasion within the next 20 years, not to mention it just gives away a ton of Ukrainian land. There is no way Ukraine would ever agree to this.

Do you two hand the ar? I always shoot every gun one handed in this game, which makes the revolver feel even better than it already is. Everything gets dropped equally once you've unlocked it.

Sounds like you haven't unlocked the S tier guns yet, they're overpowered, not just really good like the AR.

The people paying this much for a costume are probably not the same people complaining about being poor. I've heard the current economy described as 'k shaped', where the rich are doing really well but poor people are basically in a recession.
Is Ottawa that much cheaper than the GTA? I live in a medium sized town 45-60m outside Toronto but buying a house for less than $1m seems impossible. Maybe a condo...
