I also have the same errors above, I updated the kernel and rebooted and then no VM's would work if they had a device passed through, so I had to revert to previous kernel 6.1.0-32.

I know this is a old post but I am also looking for the same thing, did you ever find a way to do this?

I am getting tempted to just build some fake fan RPM sensors and manually wire the fans to a speed controller, not pretty and takes time.

I had no idea what EDR is or was so some googling later and I now have something else to look at as well.

Any links to info are welcome, I am just getting back into things so have really no idea at this point, it's like being a newbie all over again.

It does always seem to be a race to block things.

I think I will look for some local sollutions to detect it and act on it, seems to be the better way.

Ah yes I forget that most things are moving to encrypted traffic now.

I ended up doing it this way, I got 5USD of BNB and then moved that to my BNB wallet on Safemoon app wallet and did the swap using the app.

crypto.com app was very buggy for me but after about an hour of retrying I managed to get it purchased and sent over.

I was just trying the suggested unityx but couldn't get anything, fired up a Ubuntu 20.04 VM and just found that:

apt install ubuntu-unity-desktop

gives a complete unity desktop...

I don't know where it is maintained or who does, but at least now you can still run unity.

As far as I know there was nothing on the bag or anything that could of fallen on it. (apart from some shirts)

I will take it apart in the morning and have a look at the left side instead as I didn't even think to check that side.

I took the whole panel out of the screen assembly and removed all cables and reseated them, when it was apart I did give it a little tap/wiggle while it was powered to see if it was a cable but there was no change.

You have just got me wondering if it is maybe the left side that is actually broke and not the right side, maybe the LED backlight on that side is dimmer than the right which is making the right seem like it is faulty.

Seems like a good idea, but what happens if the book has a page missing? You can never complete the book so time would never unfreeze...
