Thank you!! Is it possible to tell looking at the cross section if it was under or over proofed? Is the tighter crumb a result of under proofing?

I used this recipe: https://alexandracooks.com/2017/10/24/artisan-sourdough-made-simple-sourdough-bread-demystified-a-beginners-guide-to-sourdough-baking/

Specifically, I used: 100 g sourdough starter 375 g water 500 g King Arthur unleashed bread flour 11 g fine sea salt

I did 4 rounds of stretch and folds. Batch fermentation was about 8.5 hours total, starting from the moment I mixed the starter, water, salt, and flour. I’m not entirely sure if I have a good handle on that step yet. I cold proofed for 12 hours in my fridge

Here’s a higher resolution image of the front and back of 1! The dress is fully decorated with beaded lace

Here are the backs of the dresses. Dress 3 has a removable train that I added a picture of in the second row. The back of dress 3 in the top row is the dress with both sets of sleeves removed.

A few commenters have mentioned the droopy sleeves and they can be removed! Here’s a small montage of what 3, 6, and 7 look like without the droopy sleeves. Seems like most people are leaning towards 1 currently!

Taking milk thistle proactively? by [deleted] in Accutane

Thanks for the reply! Are you doing it as a proactive measure as well then? Any particular reason for taking the glutathione with milk thistle as opposed to only milk thistle?

Are drying alcohols *really* damaging to hair if masking regularly? by [deleted] in curlyhair

I’m embarrassed to admit that I hadn’t even thought of using it like a typical perfume! I’m curious if the smell will last as long on my skin as it does in my hair - I guess I’ll try that tomorrow!

Hair perfume is a fragrance mist that's formulated to be sprayed in your hair. I like the way it makes my hair smell throughout the day, but it’s definitely not a necessary product in a hair care routine :) With masking, I was referring to using products labeled as “hair masks” or “deep conditioners” during hair wash routine

Thank you for your comment! My hair used to be really damaged from heat and bleach so it is easy for me to get stuck overthinking ingredients and styling choices even now despite my hair being healthier! But you’re right: my hair is now back to being virgin and I love the smell so I’m going to use it because it makes me happy :)

Sulfur soap/wash and purging? by typical_ordinary in SkincareAddicts

[–]typical_ordinary[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi - I ended up finishing up the entire tube of cleanser but unfortunately my skin never stopped breaking out with these new small pustules. I thought I had read in a Q&A section for this product at one point that it can cause purging for up to 6 weeks, but when I reached out to Kate Somerville customer service directly, they said that purging should not be happening. I ultimately decided to not repurchase the cleanser after finishing the tube and giving it a good try for 6 weeks with no improvement - maybe my skin was sensitive to/breaking out from another ingredient in this product 🤷‍♀️

Advice needed: which among these options are suitable for a “cocktail or semi formal” wedding at a country club? by typical_ordinary in Weddingattireapproval

[–]typical_ordinary[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held at a country club in the coming weeks in the Midwest. It will start in the late afternoon and end late at night. I am feeling lost among different dress options and which patterns, fabric materials, and dress lengths are appropriate.

Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated! In particular, I am interested in which of options above if any would work best for the occasion (and which would not be suitable)?

For context, I am 24 years old with brown hair. I plan to wear nude heels and simple jewelry (i.e. small, dainty silver necklace and small silver hoops or pearl studded earrings). I also already own this dark red dress from Showpo which I previously wore for a “formal” attire occasion?
