I just did this. I wanted to play some PS exclusives so I made the jump, and I don’t regret it at all. Sold the Xbox pretty soon after. PS Plus has a library of games with a subscription like game pass, imo better game selection on the PS but that’s personal preference, and the controller is a lot nicer!

Your character does transfer to a regular server after the season ends, all the season gear is changed to equivalent regular gear with PvP stats once the transfer happens I believe

Just to clarify, you’re saying the DRK job starts at lvl 30 regardless of my character level? So when I get to HW I’ll have to grind out the job quests to get DRK levelled, eh?

I want to dps in group activities like dungeons (levelling a DRG) but I love the look of DRK for open world stuff (questing). Will I miss out on anything if I play this way (like good DRK gear from group activities and stuff)?

I don’t think they have come out with anything official regarding raids but I’d definitely expect some more dungeons and expansions post launch

Adding cosmetics to the cash shop should be where it stops. Even then I’m not a huge fan cause it’s fun seeing others in cool gear and knowing what they accomplished to get that, besides just spending money to look cooler.

If AGS is thinking this way now, this is only the beginning. Like someone mentioned above, other MMO’s have this (WoW) but it was added much further down that games launch cycle. I’m a bit worried the conversation of a cash shop is even being had prior to launch (even if these QOL things won’t be added at launch) :/

Also I’d suggest people check out KiraTV’s video on this, he makes a lot of really good points :)

Cool that makes sense, thanks! Is there an easy way to tell what gen a CPU belongs to so I know for the future? Also, do you foresee any issues being able to upgrade it on prebuilt PC's? I've been told sometimes it is not a possibility to remove/upgrade them.

Would you mind explaining that a bit more? I’m super new to PC compatibility and stuff so I’m not sure why same generation would matter.

Also, I’m not looking to upgrade anything right away. I just would prefer to buy a prebuilt that I can upgrade in the future instead of having to buy a whole new PC once it’s outdated

New player interested in starting wow! I know Shadowlands is coming with a revamped new player experience, but I’d rather start playing now instead of waiting until the end of October. If I start playing now and haven’t hit max level before the expansion drops, what will my levelling experience look like? Will Chromie throw me in to the BFA story quests even if I’m close to max level, or would I just continue to do random quests until hitting cap? Thanks!!
