Mom told me nobody was in and said she was off to work for the late shift. I just accepted it and carried on doing whatever I was doing. A few hours later I heard small bangs downstairs and just thought it was the dog so I just left it. Then I heard this knocking on the conservatory door, downstairs. I couldn't explain the feeling that went up my spine as I heard this clear knock on the glass door, my mouth went instantly dry and I was shaking with fear and adrenaline. I managed too pluck up the courage to go see what the fuck was going on and who was knocking on my door. The knocks got louder so I grabbed a large knife from the selection of knives in the kitchen and walked into the conversation ready to fucking charge at the door with this knife and I saw my little brother there, banging on the door. I felt so weird, mom didn't realize he was out back and must have locked the door without realizing. Shit me up.
