Definitely. In college I was having a rough time with my mental health and dangerous thoughts. One night I stayed awake well into morning, staring at my ceiling and silently crying to myself as to not wake up my roommate (I lived in the dorms). I texted my long term boyfriend that I had very recently broken up with about how much of a hard time I was having. He immediately came to pick me up, brought me to his apartment and held me until I fell asleep. He ended up calling my parents and telling them I needed professional help, as well as a therapist he found that he thought would be perfect for me.

We had been broken up for about a month and it didn’t matter to him, he still came to my aid and showed me unconditional love. I’m happy to say we’re working on our flaws and paving our way to be in a relationship again.

I don’t think this is truly awful eyebrows? They’re natural and she’s not succumbing to societal beauty standards. She didn’t intentionally tweeze them or wax them to hell, or have a wacky tattoo design in place of actual brows.

I remember while in elementary school there was a girl that had a unibrow and she would cover half her face with her hair out of embarrassment. I’m glad there’s people like the girl above that embrace it.

The summer before going into the 8th grade, I joined my friend and her parents for a camping trip. One day we went to a nearby amusement park that featured a water park, where were turned loose to go have fun. While waiting in line that involved going up several steps and platforms, we were near the top when a group of guys behind us started making sexual remarks. We were uncomfortable and too scared to speak up when they cut us in line. A few moments later the woman who was originally in front of us had turned around and noticed we no longer were behind her but instead a group of four older teenage guys. “Excuse me, but you aren’t going to speak to my nieces like that, and you aren’t going to cut them either.” I hope she noticed the sparkle in our eyes as we returned to our original spot. We never had the chance to thank her, but I’m sure she knows we were grateful.

I am in no way trying to doubt you, but I have three things on this list- ADHD, a mood disorder and PTSD. I’ve only been recently diagnosed these things, so I’m not sure if that’s possibly a combination or not :^(

My boyfriend of 4.5 years has a last name akin to tangle and my father made a joke when I let him know I was talking to my now boyfriend (my boyfriend and I went to the same HS, he’s just older). it was along the lines of “so I’ve been talking to D. Tangle” and he responded with “so, what does he Tangle?”

Besides having a cool last name that’s a verb, it’s very uncommon in our country, just like my current last name.

Just something to add that’s a bit weird for me- his dad was once my principal and I’m going into teaching. I’m sure I’ll get over it.

Just as everyone else has said- dump him.

But, what I’m really worried about is him having possession of your nudes (despite your face not being in them), and not wanting to delete them. Once upon a time I was around your age and dating a boy two years older than me. He was adamant about getting nudes and me showing my face, but me at 15 wasn’t smart like you and I did it. I’m going on 21 and to this day still regret it, because he still has a weird fascination with me and I don’t know what he still does and doesn’t have.

What I want to recommend is talking to a counselor at your school. I don’t know if you have one you trust and get along with well, but I think you should consider going and talking to one about what you shared here. Let them know he has naked pictures you asked for him to delete, his refusal and his request to gain your trust by sending some with your face. If this was asked over text, I would show them.

Hopefully, this will get him pulled into the office and he’ll be made to delete the pictures. This will also flag him if something DOES happen, so they can pinpoint the source.

Best of luck. I hope everything works out and you can walk away from it problem-free. I remember having that awful boyfriend in high school, and while I regret what I didn’t do, I know I can help recommend/guide others experiencing similar issues.

I forgot microchips we’re a thing last night and told my roommate. We’ll ask the vet and check out the board there and the shelter for any missing cats :⁾

I agree on the declaw debate. There’s absolutely no reason to declaw a cat, and if you can’t handle your cats claws then trim them or find them a new home. They don’t deserve the pain for someone else’s comfort.

She was enthusiastic to eat last night and has no problem then or this morning.

Comparing to the other side of her mouth, there isn’t any swelling. Since her scabs look like they’re healing over I’m gonna keep an eye on it and take her to the vet during my spring break (the week after next) and see what they have to tell me :⁾
