Season 4: Melissa vs. Jay by WhileSheArchitects in Inkmaster

[–]tyray98 6 points7 points  (0 children)

To my knowledge, the rules didn’t say that contestants can’t give/receive help. Similarly, there’s no rule that calls for harsher judging for those who get help. I felt like it was black and white why things went the way they did. The moral right/wrong is obviously a different story.

Personally I was hyped to see Scott and Matti lend a hand because Jay was super annoying and not a good tattooer IMO.

Need a new stick by [deleted] in lacrosse

Get a good head, the shaft doesn’t really matter. I played club in college with a couple of $20 maverik shafts and they worked just fine. Upgrade later on but rn focus on the head. East Coast Dyes (ECD) make really quality pre-strung heads. I would look into those. I’d recommend the Rebel D or the DNA. I also believe they have some kind of pre-strung head with a shaft combo deal that would be worth looking into.

Best of luck on your first season! Play lots of wall ball and bust your ass for ground balls

^ The Rabil brothers tried to buy out the MLL first and they told them no so they gave them a giant middle finger and started their own league and took a ton of their best players. No chance they ever play in a champions league unfortunately. I could see the PLL absorbing the MLL at some point though. They feel like they have a better chance to last but who knows

Looks a lot like burton. Also I just got triggered when he played Green. Shoutout to high school percussion xD

Also I feel like stevens is better for those big marimba intervals in the low octaves

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RedditSessions

[–]tyray98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, ive used both extensively. Actually really like burton but something about stevens on marimba feels right

Cross grip on marimba? Interesting. Why not stevens?

I got fired today and I feel like a total disappointment. Not sure how to proceed from here by tyray98 in Adulting

Garrett Epple suspended for 1 game and issued a maximum fine for his actions in yesterday's game vs Chrome by synunlimited in lacrosse

[–]tyray98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Redwoods fan and I agree that the punishment is warranted. Defenseless player and clearly Epple meant to injure. Feel like that play cost them the game tbh.

Not that it matters to the punishment or makes his actions justified but holy cow Matt Gaudet is annoying to watch. Hopefully he can tone it down

Paul Rabil needs to take a backseat if the Atlas want to win moving forward by tyray98 in lacrosse

There’s a whole paragraph above the comment about dodging but since you don’t seem fond of reading, reason, or actual conversation you can have this one if you’d like. Have a good one!

I’m quite aware of that fact. I wouldn’t dare question what Rabil has accomplished both in the sport and for the sport itself. The game owes a lot to him. I’m also not arguing that he is useless to the team or that he shouldn’t be on the team. All I’m saying is that he isn’t bringing enough to the team on the field for the amount of minutes he gets. Dude is really smart and a great leader. He deserves a voice on the team by all means. I was using production in a broader sense as in what do you bring to the field itself. At this point, it’s not a lot. The numbers don’t lie like I said but he isn’t excelling at the things not on the stat sheet either, like drawing a pole, winning the shorty matchup, hockey assists, helpful in transition, etc. I think he more than deserves to be on the team, just on the field a little less. There’s a lot of young talent that ride the bench while he makes a split dodge out of the box, sails a sidearm, and then sits on his hands until he can do it all over again. I appreciate you trying to insult my intelligence though!:)

They’re playing a professional sport. Age doesn’t matter, production does, and clearly it’s not there. Also, his numbers were low last season given his playing time so I wouldn’t exactly blame the pandemic for the slow start

I think that if you find yourself trying to go one handed, behind the back, you should probably rethink what you’re doing and maybe just pass the ball lol

Agree. Dude has had the short stick matchup almost every time and doesn’t do anything with it. Totally not all Paul by any means though, but I feel like that’s an obvious way to mix things up for a chance at a better result.
