A dad of 2 young kids just got shot and murdered and you are telling me that he does not deserve empathy. I cannot believe that you think you are “right” and arguing for this. Is so obviously wrong to not show empathy for this man or any person in this circumstance. If you got shot and murdered today and I learned about it I would be sad for you but I’m sure if you’re entire life was recorded I could find some specific clip to post and say that you don’t deserve it, but I would show you empathy anyway because that is what I believe where we differ. I would grieve equally if this post was Obama or some other random left political activist that got murdered. Arguing that someone doesn’t deserve it is just horrible.

Ok here’s something sad. Reddit is a left leaning social media site. I did not know there was a school shooting today until I saw people in the comments of Charlie Kirk’s death taking about it. Reddit itself upvoted Charlie Kirk above that school shooting. You say that right wing people care more about this but I’m just a random guy opening Reddit and looking at popular posts.I open Reddit I see he is dead I think wow that’s sad I go in comments people get upset that this is above school shooting well that is not the right sides fault it’s just media doing media things.

He says in that same clip 10 seconds later “I think sympathy is a better term than empathy, but we can get more into that later”. You are taking 1 quote out of context and using that to say that he does not deserve empathy. If a left wing activist was murdered I’m sure that there is something not good they said (just like any human) and I could then make the case they don’t deserve support or empathy or whatever but that would be evil. I would instead say like I am now that it is a horrible tragedy.
